Jon is the best. His performance is consistently high-quality work. I do have concerns about the service and pricing. No one ever answers the phone when I call to make an appointment and I had to stop by twice without being able to get my haircut. Jon was not there and when I asked, no one else could/would cut it. Most, not all of the people, except Jon are unfriendly and it takes a while for someone to acknowledge when a customer enters the store. Further, I wonder why I’m being charged more than a man when they only cut the sides and back (leaving the top) of my hair, which is less work. Also, the man accepting payments at the desk purposely tried to charge me more than the already more expensive price. He changed it after I brought it up. But then waited for me to forget to get my change. He didn’t reach for it and waited while I reached for something in my bag. When I finished, I looked at him. There was a slight pause. I was looking for an affordable hair cut. I ended up getting so much more than that. A caring, skilled, friendly Vietnamese barber, who took his time to make sure I was happy with my haircut, paying the attention to detail for which I have to pay 4x more in New Jersey, where I live. I happened to be in Philly working anyway and I had time. But I would gladly pay the $5 toll and still pay less than what I pay in Jersey. This will be my go to place from now on. Great Clips, Hair Cuttery, Super Cuts and the like can go to h€ll, as far as I'm concerned. Plus, they usually are rude and careless. To be clear, there are amazing hair stylists in NJ who do not work for a chain/franchise, and if i were a woman and needed a keratin treatment, a balayage, color, a perm, etc. I would go to them, for sure (i worked at a hair salon at some point!) But for a simple guy buzz cut, this is perfect. P.S. I gave my barber a good tip, and the haircut was still cheaper...

This is the worst barber shop I have been to. I took my kids there for a haircut. First of all they don’t listen what you are telling them and keep chatting between each other in their language. They are very bad at what they do, not sure how they got licenses or what school they attended? They have listed price of $10 a hair cut but you go to the counter they charge you more ( don’t go by the advertised price). I could understand if you do something extra but just for a regular hair-cut they scam you. This was the first and last time for me going to this place. Stay away from this place if you care about hair...
