I "cut the cable" the first week of January 2019. CenturyLink Prism had been fine, but it wasn't necessary to spend that kind of money to access the TV programming we watch. I called Electronic Wizards and Keith assured me they could install an outdoor antenna and hook up my choice of streaming equipment (Amazon FireTV). The installer arrived on time and had me up and running that same day. There is a bit of a learning curve, but it's really simple to operate. After about 4 months we began to have trouble with reception on Channel 8. Sometimes, Channel 12, too, but Ch. 8 was becoming unwatchable (and un-recordable, too). I called and Keith sent out another tech to troubleshoot. He decided the antenna should be higher on the house, so a third tech came later to move the antenna up a bit. Through it all there has never been hesitation to come back and do what's right. The streaming part of the system has been flawless using CenturyLink's internet service ("price for life", too). With the monthly savings (from the Prism package we were paying for) it has taken about 4 1/2 months to recoup our initial equipment investment. Now, we just save every month. Electronic Wizards has been great to work with and they know their business. Every home is different and TV reception is different at each one, too. It's important to have a company who knows what needs to be done and will see you through to the end. I highly recommend Electronic Wizards in the Phoenix area. I think they will take care of me in the future is I have issues. Thanks Keith, Cory,...
Read moreWell, there is this guy called Corey, who just so happens to be the best satellite techie in the land. He did over the phone, what two local satellite techies could not do in person, on my roof, in my house and on the phone to their techies. Zilch, nada, zero. What these two local satellite techies did do however, was to leave a bunch of truck oil stains on my driveway. I digress.
I wrote to the Electronic Wizards in Phoenix. Poof, like magic, Corey appeared. He guided me through various steps to get a signal. He knew and understood my satellite providerâs system, equipment and coordinates like the back of his hand. Corey was professional, fast in replying to my questions, provided me with straight forward advice (non techie language) so I could understand and with patience galore.
A true super seamless experience backed up with fantastic results. I am so appreciative of Coreyâs work and that Electronic Wizard has such knowable and professional team...
Read moreI used Electronic Wizards to install an outdoor TV antenna on our manufactured home. The tech/installer Sam called to let me know he was running late to road closures. Sam was thorough, neat and professional. Sam installed the antenna at the peak of the roof for better signal, ran the RG6 cable beneath the homes eave using stainless steel hardware with the holes filled with silicon. The cable was run discreetly, cleanly and professionally which was a concern of mine. As it turned out, the antenna Sam was equipped with was missing a few parts, so a gentleman drove a replacement antenna from Surprise to our Mesa home. The antenna was an upgrade that was provided at no extra charge, due to our "inconvenience". Much appreciated. Sam Scanned TV channels in our home to verify operation and we received 145 channels. We would recommend Elec Wizards to anyone. We will likely have them activate the Ring cameras on the new (used) home...
