We didn't know anything about this restaurant but found it when we were going to have breakfast at First Watch off of Camelback and W 32nd. Because we like wine, we thought it would be interesting to eat there sometime so we did this past weekend for lunch. We got seated promptly; took about 7 minutes for our waiter to come to take our drink orders and if we were ready to order our food (we were). We both got a glass of wine; hubby had two of the tacos and I had the sloppy joe sliders. We split an order of the thin fries on their side menus. The food was good; a bit pricey but tasty. Our service was just "okay." Not outstanding, certainly not attentive. After our waiter, Zachary, brought us our food he never checked back with us if things were satisfactory until he cleared our plates at the end and then asked if we wanted anything more before he brought us our check. Again, food was tasty but overpriced a bit and without the attentiveness of the wait staff, it wasn't a great over...
Read moreThis is a local Mecca for wine aficionados whose deep wallets do not tremble at a sight of bottle prices. The gem was made from strawberries, preserved lemons, dark and white chocolate ganache and something else pickled. The chef inventing such combination must be mad or genius or both. Because it tasted strangely beautiful. Like you crash a wedding buffet and try to stuff your mouth with food before being kicked out. All of a sudden you are chewing on strawberries, chocolate and pickles. To summarize our excellent experience: if you are a wine lover this place is...
Read moreI am absolutely delighted with my recent visit to Tarbell's Tavern! The experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by their attentive staff, who ensured every detail of my lunch was flawless. My Caesar salad was crisp, perfectly dressed, and delightfully refreshing—a true testament to their culinary standards. Paired with a well-crafted Arnold Palmer, it was the ideal midday treat.
The ambiance of the restaurant exudes a quiet charm and relaxed elegance. It’s a refreshing escape, and I couldn’t help but appreciate the thoughtfully designed space that invites you to sit back and savor every moment. With their recent launch of lunch service, I highly recommend stopping by to experience the outstanding quality and comfort firsthand....
