Desert Park West — Attraction in Phoenix

As a first time expierence going to watch my little cousin in his basketball game i had to rate this place one star. I was in the gym and the janitor a Caucasian,white hair, elder man was very disrespectful to my younger brother and myself. As we stood in the entrance because the seating was full he verbally disrespected my younger brother using vulgar language to move out of the entrance which I found surprising. We moved out of the entrance and stood against the wall, as he worked by his computer he watched us and I found that disturbing. Then, I told my brother to take my cousin the water he brought. The janitor then comes and once again verbally disrespected us, also kicking us out because we had water inside the gym. I was not aware that water was not allowed inside the gym and i had no problem in dumping the water outside either, my problem was being disrespected by an elder man that has no level of communication or customer service. Luckily their was a man that heard and saw the situation and works for the city he later then comes to me and expressed how he did not agree in the way an elder man spoke to a young lady and he will file a complain and explained to me how i will proceed in the complain. Also i went to speak to the front office and the female was no help at all and was ok with the way he spoke at us because she heard when he told us to move from the front door. Im not the person to complain but i realize it was my mistake to not read the signs in the entrance and inform myself that water and food was not allowed but I wish he would have had the audacity to speak to me in more...

A 4 sided park. One side a great skate board ramp in which they have had many tournaments with radio stations and great crowds. The second are four baseball softball fields where I have seen many of the men and girl teams play. Excellent fields very well kept with plenty of seating for the families. The third side is the soccer fields large area but no real seating area for families. You have to sit on the ground or bring your own seat, but still a vast area for the teams to play in and the grounds are again well kept. Last week 06/21/15 a fight broke out the police arrived and the entire soccer field was shut down. May have been a bit extreme, but the point was made no fighting will be tolerated. Job well done. The last part of the park is just that a park for the family to come and sit and have a picnic and play games. Could use a little more shade, but the pond for fishing makes up for that. Great fishing, though right now with the heat the fish aren't being caught so soak up the sun play volley ball and have a good time at this side...

I've hung around this park for about 3 years. Up till the past few months it was a pleasure, and now it's like people are too board with the way things are so now people in the neighborhood and park employees are following me and some of my friends around the park and they follow us in their cars around the neighborhood flashing turn signals to indicate which side of the street we are on, drive really slow to look through the park to find us at night, and have tried to hit us with their cars while crossing the street! They also honk the horn when they find someone, witch helps me find out were they are as well. Hopefully these people find Jesus soon, cause he will forgive them before I do. It's...
