Mountain Park Health Center Maryvale Clinic — Local services in Phoenix

I used to think they were good until this was what I found out even on my first appointment the doctors were friendly but not really listening they also refused to help me get some things I needed multiple times and I had to go to other doctors to get the items needed in form of doctor's notes and be sent back to them before I got a single one when I have had those notes given based off of former health issues and they won't give them without a figurative(proverbial) fight claiming they don't give doctor's notes, that I know all doctors will give if needed, and I know they are just not wanting to give doctor's notes that will help people with things needed with out them being stressed out by the doctor's first based off what I have had to deal with, also I feel unheard, and like I have no say in the appointments scheduled. I have to work around other appointments I have to be at(obgyn) and the (obgyn)doctor's I have asked the doctors to make sure I am included in the scheduling of my appointments multiple times and not been included they keep scheduling without me being involved, my husband has to work and he's the only one I trust to watch our kids when I am in appointments and he could easily lose his job because of the doctor's not working with me and my husbands schedules. We have four things we have to be at weekly, appointments over housing to keep our housing and we can easily lose our housing if we even miss one of those appointments, meetings that help us meet our housing goals which help us keep our housing, other appointments (1. my son's therapy's, 2. my husbands work, 3. my meetings and 4. appointments) and so much more some which help my nonverbal two year old, some which help with keeping a roof over our families heads, and others that are to keep work. I only have one day each week that has nothing on it. And they keep scheduling me outside of my one day a week that has any openings. My family is very busy and this has been nothing but a strain on my family and almost cost us many things that are key to us keeping a stable place and work for us. And my son has missed therapy sessions due to this as well which has caused him delays that are not good. I am considering changing obgyn's due to the refusal to work with me on scheduling of appointments, and working with me over the schedule my family has every week. They also are wanting me to go to a hospital that is 1 and a half hours from my house for me to give birth when I go into labor which is not an option for me. When there are closer banner hospitals that If I go into labor would be where the ambulance would take me and I have no way to drive currently either. Which only leaves me the ambulance to get to...

The ladies at the front office in the wellness clinic were very very rude and very unprofessional. My appointment was km 8/23/22 at 10am at Maryville location, I checked in online and made sure I answered all questions online. Then I clicked am here at 945am, in the parking lot. 950am I was at the front office,they checked me in. I sat there waiting, at 10:15am I stood up and ask the lady on the left side what was going on, she was on the phone, I stood there quietly waiting for her tobget off the phone(landline) Fortunately the other lady came and said she would help me the so I stepped away and went to the right side to talk to the lady who offered to help. While I was ansking why uts taking this long, it 10:30 without being called in, the other lady who was on the phone jumped and said oh there are ither people who came here before you, I asked her why she is talking to me when this one was talking to me as well. She micked me and rolled her eyes and hands in the air with the phone on her hand!

This is the worst experience I have ever had being a patient for over 8 years at mountain park clinic! Mind you my appointment had been reschedule because previously I was 15minutes kate just because I didn't know I had to go to the wellness clinic. I first went to where I usually go see my PCP.

On 5/9/24 at approximately 12:15 we entered the moduler part of this facility for a referral update for my son ,as we walked in four receptionist were gathered at one end laughing and carrying on about some individual on their computer,so we stood at the waiting line for about 30seconds till they were done and we were told that they would be with us in a minute, but thing is they weren't even working they were playing a minute ago and now we have to wait for them to do their jobs, finally the gentleman looked up and hesitantly asked what we were there for,so I spoke up and said that the referral my son was given for a neurologist was to far and that we needed something closer,the receptionist replying that my son would have to see the doctor again! So I asked if I could speak to anyone in the referral department and was told that the doctor would have to be the one to speak to and that all of the doctors are out on their lunch break, thing is my son has problems communicating and forgets what to say and this facility was trying to collect on an unnecessary doctor visit and when he tried explaining to them his situation they were being condescending,i found my son a different primary care physician and neurologist without their help ,the staff at this facility is inconsiderate,they are not helping those whom are incapable of helping themselves,...
