Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Phoenix

This is not the first time having issues with this Popeyes one of the times I decided to walk in the store because the drive-through line was long and only 3 people ordering inside so I figured it be faster.... wrong it turns out it must have been a change of shift because they were all in a hurry to get out.... it seems like you hired a bunch of kids because at one point they were playing paper rocks or scissors to see who would go home first... I wasn’t the only one who noticed .... the second time I came through the drive-through and only had cash and I understood that there was a change shortage at one time so I gave them a $5 dollar bill and the change... this way it would just be easier for her to just give me a dollar back... she gave me my food , closed the window and turn away.... I had to wave her down and and asked her about my change... she then said there was a shortage of change and could not give me it... at this point I could not believe what I was hearing. I explain what I have done to make it easier for her.. that just seemed to confuse her. At this point my food was getting cold and I wasn’t getting anywhere with her so I ended telling her to forget about it and I just drove away... at this point I should just have stayed away but I have had good experiences at other locations and when the food is hot its actually good and since this is the closest location to my house and I felt like a good chicken sandwich I figured I’d give it another chance... unfortunately I was wrong by doing so again.. I ordered my food through the drive-through again just so I get sent to the parking lot and wait for it to be done...as I’m waiting for my food 2 more customers park next to me as well also waiting for their order.... finally a young man comes to my vehicle and repeated my order to me and it was it but when I looked through it I noticed that I was missing food .. I ended up going inside to claim the rest of my food... I guess they didn’t believe me until I gave them the bag and my receipt... and you would think they would get on it but nope they took their sweet time ... finally got home to some cold sandwiches and soggy fries and to be honest not the greatest I’ve had from this franchise... neatness to say I won’t be going back and I hope for your customers sake the service...

Heads up if you place a order on the Popeyes app ,you can not cancel or edit the order after its placed. I was not able to make it to pick my order up last night before the store closed so since I couldn't cancel it in the app I reached out to Popeyes support. They responded at about 1 am telling me they are sorry for the inconvenience gave me a five buck credit and said that you cannot cancel or edit orders in the app and that I can still go ahead and pick up my order from the location I called the location the lady on the phone was telling me that I need to cancel it there's nothing that she can do because she doesn't have a ticket for my order and that I have to cancel it and replace the order so I'm trying to explain to her what I was told by Popeyes support she stopped talking and then it was just silent for about 20 minutes she sat the phone down and continue to work I don't live far so I just decided to drive up there within that time I get there I show her my email and now she is more inclined to help me and she said she didn't know what to do she had to call her boss so she called the boss I don't know what they discussed but eventually she gave me my order but afterwards she explained we're going to do it this time but next time you have to cancel the order in the app again I told her there's not a way to cancel the order in the app I even showed her in in the app her response was well when you place the order there we don't have a ticket so I can't remake the order and explained to me that this was what her boss told her. She is the assistant manager or general manager and she called someone over her. I did get my food eventually and the only nice part about this extremely long process was the young man that worked at the counter who handed me my food and even gave me an apology for the inconvenience the rest of it was atrocious telling me to do something that I explained was impossible and also just sitting the phone down and putting me hold for 20 minutes with no intention to come back...

On Aug. 18 2023 I went into Popeyes because when I want fried chicken. I should have knew, when I walked in. All the tables were not clean off, their was a sign on the Pop machine that said out of order. Ok I order a 12 piece Chicken only for $28.23 takeout. Only 3 people working, so I ask how long would I have to wait. The reply was maybe 15min, that turn into 30min. When I got home open the box it was only 8 pieces. I called when I was explaining my issue all of the sudden, the lady started saying, I can’t hear you, I can’t hear you. After calling back at least 15 times she kept repeating the same thing, even sometimes just answer an hung up. Someone else to call from their phone, all of a sudden the same lady could hear again. So I got on the phone and started explaining to this lady my issue halfway through the conversation she started saying hello, hello, I can’t hear you. The same lady just hung up the phone I was so irritated that I spent $28.23 for 8 pieces of chicken. I was so upset with this lady playing games when I spent my money and my time. After this game she was playing if I would’ve went back up there I don’t know what would’ve happened, but I do know I will never ever go back to this Popeyes on 67th Ave. and Thomas and what makes it really bad the three workers knew that I had been there 30 minutes or more. No one will spend $28.23 for 8 pieces of chicken. The right thing all she had to do take my call, in asked me to come back and give me what I paid for. I would’ve taken back all eight pieces still in the box. It was a waste of my time more important than that my money!!!!!!! If you go there and you place a take-out order, believe me check everything before you walk out the door. And it was not because they were busy, me and one other person.
