I should've stuck to my gut instinct, BUT nope I had to against my better judgment. When I called in to make my appointment I didn't know who I was going to see, but the receptionist assured me that the stylist I was going to see had been doing hair for years! I went in blindly not seeing any of the stylist work, very bad idea!
I was booked with Dixie. I showed up on time, and showed her exactly I wanted. When I showed her several pictures of the color I was looking for she seriously made a face. My hair is naturally dark brown, and all I was looking for was some chocolate brown highlights. She explained it would be a long process. I said to her if she didn't have the time to do it at this time I could just come back, and to please just cover my grays. side note.. (Not to many grays ) I guess Miss Dixie felt like this was boring & beneath her coloring skills, because what I got was light caramel highlights! I even expressed to her when I was waiting for the color to process that I felt like it was way to blonde. She tried to dismiss my concern by saying "it's not as scary as you think." Well it was. When she blow dried my hair out she made a J-lo reference about my hair which cracked me up. What because I'm Latina you think I want to look like J-lo!? Insert eye-roll here. She told me to give it a few days & if I wasn't happy with the color she could darken it back up. I left very unhappy, because what a waste of my time.
I woke up the next day, and everytime I would see my reflection I would cringe at not only my orange hair, but the fact that she also chopped more hair off than I expected.
Fast forward to today when Dixie agreed to color my hair back to brown. I went in not sure what to expect. When I said hello to her she ignored me, and I should've walked out that moment. I stayed and she acted all FAKE! Colored my hair, and then asked if I wanted to sit under the dryer. I kindly declined. I was treated so rudely by her after spending over $250.00 for what? After ruining my Saturday for her mess up she had the nerve to be mad at me!!? I'm sure there are some good stylists in this salon, but Dixie is not one of them, and her very bad attitude. You've...
ย ย ย Read moreChristi (called CC by some) is AMAZING. Plain and simple! Yelp qualifies 5 stars as "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" and CC is just that! Not only is she a truly beautiful and kind person, she is TALENTED!!! She ALWAYS gets it 100% right. She somehow gives me exactly what I'm looking for, and yet exactly what she knows in her professional opinion will look best! Christi is what I call a hair wizard. PLUS she does truly awesome make up. She is multi-talented and a joy to sit with for hours on end. There is nothing worse than working with a stylist you just don't click with and sitting there awkwardly during long color services. Christi is so friendly and caring, it's like hanging out with a friend for two hours and walking out with PERFECT HAIR EVERY TIME. I love her and will never see...
ย ย ย Read moreI would not recommend Erica for microblading brows. She texted me a picture of one of her clients with microbladed brows. That picture was actually taken from the instagram of a tattoo artist in Texas (I communicated with that salon in Texas to verify this after using google image search). No wonder my brows looked nothing like the picture. I have been coming to Leidan Mitchell since 2003, getting my hair colored about twice a month and having my eyebrows waxed. I have always been extremely happy with all of my services. Jacki, the owner, was mildly sympathetic and assured me a full refund of what I had paid, which was $300. Unfortunately, obtaining that refund is a very convoluted story. Super...
