Sally Q Nails — Attraction in Phoenix

I hate to give a bad review because the lady who does my nails is great. I only started to come to the salon because it’s less than a mile from my house. The owner who goes by the American name “Sally” is rude, impersonal, arrogant, and unprofessional. Normally I make an appointment but one time I walked in, Sally ended up doing my mani/pedi. She was doing my pedicure didn’t say a word to me didn’t look at me never smiled at me and, I’ve never seen her smile at anyone. She gets up in the middle of my pedicure and walks away. She goes in the back and I’m looking around, wondering where she went and what she’s doing. And then she walked up front and took another client and I was left sitting in the masssge chair. A few minutes later another technician came and finished the job. Today I had an appointment and I was there a couple minutes early. My technician was working on someone else and asked me to sit down and I said OK and then Sally brought over the daughter of the lady that my technician was doing. Then she came over to me and said, she’ll be able to take you at 1:30. I acted like a little bit of a Karen and said well I made an appointment, but ok. This just shows me what an horrible manager Sally is. I’ve also noticed the good technicians that used to be there are gone. There are also less staff available. Fortunately, I am moving out of state and will never have to go to this nail salon again but other than my technician, I don’t think anyone should go. And I would hate to see the business close and the technicians be penalized for that. It’s my hope that Sally looks at this knows that I’ve been going to the salon for over seven years, and realizes that she’s losing clients because of her demeanor and how she runs...

The shop was clean, But at the end of the service, The lady kept yelling out really loud, "how much tip, how much tip" Then the lady who did my feet came over there and took my credit card. Put it in the machine and started to do everything herself like I was stupid and didn't know how to work the machine. I was trying to calculate her tip based on percentage and told her to wait but she cashed me out, In the meantime another lady is constantly yelling in front of a shop full of people. "How much tip are you going to give" I was trying to calculate how much I wanted to give her, so I did 15% of the bill, The lady again took my credit card out of my hand and proceeded to run it again. And I told her thirteen dollars and the lady said do fifteen and I said thirteen.. These people are very rude disrespectful and racially profound me and my mother As if we were not going to tip. RUDE! They were very slow she took a hour and a half to do a pedicure. I wish I could post a picture so you can see the bad job that was...
