The Taco Spot - Christown — Restaurant in Phoenix

If i could give the place a 0 star I would in a heartbeat! I will never step foot in this establishment and will make sure I let everyone I know that this place is not worth it. Just go to naughty tacos around the corner! I promise you it’s better than this place.

The cashier seemed confused the entire time I’m explaining the order and had to repeat it like 3-4 times AND!!!!!! somehow still managed to forget part of my order. I usually check before leaving but they tied my bag. So, make sure you rip it open so you can double check before leaving. (I had to drive back but the food was so mid I just wanted my money back) Just for clarity 12 tacos no drinks, no fries, with consome (a lil janky ass cup of it literally a ranch dip cup like what you get with wings) I paid $64 like no bs. 😂 a rip off I’ll tell you that. Don’t get me started on the menu - it literally displays combo not individual items so to get a breakdown was hard for the cashier. Remember I said 12 tacos and they only gave me 3 salsas with it. I really disliked everything...

I was super excited to attend the Taco spot for dinner this evening with it being Taco Tuesday. How ever the place was empty for it being 530pm so I figured give it a chance, now I ordered 2 childrens meals and street Taco's and a burrito for my husband and 3 drinks .. 60$ later the food comes out and I was shocked.. it was very small we're talking maybe 2oz of rice and beans .. that we're supposed to be sides .. and that Taco's were smaller then the palm of my hand .. the rice was hard and not able to be eaten.. the cana asad was ok .. then it got worse when we got home .. my husband went immediately to the restroom and proceeded to " for lack of a better word " vomit . Then my children started complaining there tummy's hurt .. and I my self visited the restroom.. I'm not sure if it was the food or the soda that tasted a little off but we all got sick .. I will NEVER come back to this place which is sad because I love tacos and it's super convenient being in this location.. if I could if get my money back but it is what it is...

Customer service was alright inviting and welcoming, she greeted us and answered all questions. I ordered a asada/surf & turf burrito bowl. There was a customer after me whom had order some tacos and when they recieved their order we all was like why is they so small like smaller than the palm of your hand it wouldn't even satisfy a child so we laugh at it and was like the taste better be on point or else this is the 1st and last time coming here! I received my order and the bowl looked like someone have eaten out of it all ready they didn't even cover the whole bottom of the bowl so I came to the same conclusion as the other customer. So my rate for the burrito bowl is 4 with the sauce and 5.5 with the Verde sauce which gives its a little more favor. Overall it's an alright taco place but needs to give more bang for our buck especially since the favor isn't on...
