This is way more than just a HUGE place packed full of one-of-a-kind housewares, home decor, furniture, art, and other unique items. The way the artists create their spaces within this place in order to display their items for sale is beautiful and inspiring!! You can literally wander through the booths for hours. There's a second building with an outdoor area between with items like giants metal letters, old bikes, and cement fountains. When you arrive, the friendly young lady that (usually) greets you will give you a number. As you find things you would like to buy, (and you will!!) the attentive staff will take small items to the back so you can keep shopping without having to carry your stuff around. Larger items are tagged appropriately so you don't have to worry about someone else getting them. Then when you check out, all your items are behind the cashier's station and they basically just appear! It's a good system. They also offer delivery, for a separate fair fee thru a contractor onsite who does a great job! (I know they go as far as Sedona, maybe beyond, just ask!) You can get a lot of inspiration for your home even if you're on a budget and can't buy everything you want to complete the look, you can start with a main piece and build from there. Note: They are only open once a month for 3 days so check their...
Read morePurchased an advertised vintage clock that turned out to be newer and not vintage. Buyers beware they pass off newer items as vintage. Clock was recently made by Curtis in Burbank CA. When we got it home after pick up the back was also missing which was not disclosed on their Facebook posting. Clock was wrapped in plastic so it was difficult to inspect at pickup. Shop was closed when clock was picked up and we were quickly escorted out the door. Contacted the shop and told them it was a newer clock and nothing but silence in return to that message. They did respond to my question about the missing back stating they did not have it and they received it with a missing back. Yet, they did not disclose the missing back on their facebook for sale posting or in messages inquiring about the clock condition. However, they stated they knew the back was missing. Was told it was from the Chicago area and vintage which was an obvious lie. Lesson learned here is never purchase something from folks advertising on Facebook Marketplace unless you have done business with them prior. Shop showed no interest in "salvaging" their reputation as a reputable business. A well-earned negative review. Zero stars was not an option but...
Read moreThere is such cool stuff here. It is like a vintage store/antique store on steroids. Now, I find it kind of annoying that they aren't open but a lone weekend a month, but that just means they have cooler stuff and that you have to snatch it up while you can! They have a lot of shabby chic stuff that Im not a fan of in the front of the store, but if you head out to the back, they have cool outdoor furniture as well as a whole warehouse that has really cool reclaimed items and just antiques, bones, just cool stuff. The prices are always good too. If you have the opportunity to talk to the vendors, sometimes they are willing to help you out on the prices and are VERY kind about negotiating. Don't ever EXPECT them to drop the price for you though...thats just rude.
I will say, the downside to this place is the lack of parking and how crazy it gets sometimes. It is quickly becoming a hot spot for finding great treasures, and word has gotten out! Good for them, but bad for the parking situation! Not going to shed a star though, because the parking situation is a small price to pay for the cool stuff I have...
