From beginning to end, this entire experience with United Beauty Supply in mesa has been beyond disappointing. Let me walk you through exactly what happened, because this needs to be said and names need to be mentioned.
Since May 23rd, I have been trying to get my hands on the Raven wig by Bobby Boss. I spoke to Holly, who was incredibly helpful and professional at the time. I asked her why the Raven wig was being sold for $40 more in-store than it was on the companyās website. She reassured me and even guaranteed that they honor price matching especially if itās their own product and pricing. I trusted her word.
Fast forward to now. I went in to purchase the same wig, expecting the same treatment I received before. But instead, I was met with nothing but pushback and confusion. The girl working behind the counter was helpful from the start! I explained the situation clearly: that I had previously spoken with Holly, that I was told price matching was guaranteed, and that the price online was $40 less.
She looked at me and said, āWell, thatās not how it works. And shes never herd that before and need to contact her manager Michelle well miss Michelle She had an attitude for no reason, and it started getting loud for absolutely nothing. I could tell she was getting flustered and which made no sense. I stayed calm, but at that point I told her Iād be calling Holly myself, since she was the one who originally helped me.
She went ahead and tried to contact Holly too. Eventually she finds out Hollyās not working today, after Iāve been shopping here, staying loyal, and clearly doing my part as a respectful customer? Disrespectful.
Letās be honest if a police officer walked in and paid $40 more for a wig they couldāve gotten cheaper online, yāall would be bending over backwards to fix it. But when itās just a regular customer, we get excuses, and a runaround?
Thatās not how you run a business. Thatās not how you treat people.
I wasted days trying to follow up, be patient, and get a product I was willing to pay forājust not be overcharged for. All of that was ruined by the lack of professionalism and pure messiness on your end. Because of that, I will never be spending another dollar in here especially not at your location. Iāll gladly take my money elsewhere, to a company that respects communication, consistency, and customer service.
So to recap: Holly, thank you for trying to do things the right way. But to the rest of the team working today? This aināt it. You lost a customerānot just over $40, but over the principle. Save the day regional manager ! All tpu had to do was save the day your the manager ! Im a manager. Lol...

Renee has the experience to understand what customer service means. She is a breath of fresh air in what had become an agonizing experience month after month, trying to find a local store to purchase wigs. I had a number of less than favorable experiences at this store over the years, but I decided to give them another try, Mostly because they had the largest selection of wigs in blonde european type hair..at least in central Phoenix. Now it's the only place I get my wigs!! Renee always makes time for me, She's stayed well after the store should have closed making sure I got what I wanted. Their selection has increased tremendously too, so that helps. She will always order in new styles and colors..which are usually in within a week. If you haven't given this place a try in the past 6 months, I would urge you to give it another try. I think you may be pleasantly surprised. The snobs are gone and you won't feel guilty for asking for some assistance. And you will probably get it...
