Helen S. Howarth Community Park — Attraction in Pinellas Park

I love the dog parks. We are here almost everyday unless it’s raining. We enjoy the other people and pups as well at the park and are happy to have it so near. It’s pretty and well maintained. Today 02/05/2020 is very windy and the US flag and Pinellas cnty flags were so loose on the flag pole at the softball field that I had to do something because I couldn’t find a number to call to report. As a veteran I couldn’t stand by so I jumped the fence and did a temp fix. Sorry....

The park was nice. Had clean restrooms. Nice play area for kids. My friends and I wore our masks and were able to easily social distance. The only thing that disturbed all of us was the kids and parents were not wearing masks. The play area being very full of kids without masks. The adults were not practicing any safety. Sad to see this. Nice to see the maintenance crew trimming dead branches out of the trees on the driveway....

Great park! First thing about this park is that it's very clean. There is a lot to offer at this park: playground, dog park, equestrian park, walking trails, picnic shelters and bathrooms. The playground has two different play areas a toddler play area and older kids area. My kids really enjoyed playing on this playground because it's not your typical playground equipment.
