Good Food, Local Mexican Restaurant, Credit Card Fees
Credit Card Fee: Yes, 4% additional Prices: $12 - $20 per meal
Los Guerreros Mexican Restaurant is a reboot of the same restaurant (previously owned by relatives who lost their liquor license). It is an average size, local Mexican restaurant serving the typical fare for Mexican restaurants.
We have visited this restaurant for many years. I have tried a number of their offerings and always find the food to be good and fresh. Ironically, we really like the hard beef tacos, as well as the enchiladas. Everything is very good and would recommend based on the food.
The old owners used to have 100s of painted ceramic items for sale along the walls. There are some remnants of those, but not many. The restaurant has nicely painted murals and the atmosphere is average to above average.
Service has always been average at best. Lately, it has been a little lower than the norm, but that may be a result of the change in ownership.
Overall, this is a great place to go. Personally, I hate the credit card fee given that over 65% of restaurant goers pay with a credit card. It frankly shows the lack of business acumen by these owners. For that reason, we limit our visits. If you don't care about the fees, give this...

The meat in the arroz Loco was burnt and not good, rice was somewhat hard, and there was no flavor in any of the food. Wanted a side of veggies, they wanted to charge $8 for peppers and onions. No thanks. Cheese dip was cold, asked for it to be reheated. Not worth the $4.75. I was very disappointed because I had high expectations from a previous visit. Then on top of that the manager was cashing me out and kept trying to ring me up $2 more than the regular price for 3 tacos. Food was wasted cause when we got to the hotel room, immediately threw it all away. The only positive experience was the waitress. Will definitely try another restaurant when we come...
Read moreWe have been visiting the restaurant for years and we order a pitcher of margaritas because we love their margaritas so much. Last night we ordered as usual and as soon as it arrived I told my friends that it was a strange color and that it was green. As soon as I tasted it it was horrible. plain green sweet water with no lime flavor and not to mention the tequila flavor which was almost nonexistent. We asked the waitress to add a little tequila but the taste remained the same, just sweet green water. We are very disappointed because that was the main reason we came here. We loved enjoying margaritas and food together. Now we have no reason to visit often and even if we come for lunch we will definitely not drink...
