Kayak Launch — Attraction in Pinellas Park

I grew up on the weeki wachee River almost since I was a young boy going to that beautiful River and want a beautiful River she used to go from the headsprings by US 19 to the Gulf of Mexico just as beautiful all the way from one end to the other with no difference in clarity that was when I was a young man back in the 70s a change on our planet too bad it changed with the word for the quality of that River only the head springs still offers the quality of water that used to be continually all the way down that...

Brilliant little place. Water at the launch can be very low sometimes but navigable. Solitude and nature even if you aren't on the water. I highly recommend.

A year later, still brilliant, but marine plants seem to be taking over.

Any way we can get the city's attention on clearing some of the overgrown Waterway this used to go all the way out to Cross by you and it was a nice route to go now you got 5 minutes on the water and you have to turn back around that used to be the purpose...
