WOW! This is the place what brewers dream up as their place to call home but the regular public also wants to call it home, too. Wonderful selection of their beer that is made on site, board games for all in a warehouse style outside area, and comfortable but simple digs inside for those that wish to talk. They're dog friendly and newbie friendly, answering every question I had with an informative and excited answer. I was met with eye contact and a smile within 2 minutes of standing behind a bunch of other people at the bar. Very personable. I was truly comfortable. The beers were amazing. Their Gose didn't win for nothing, that's for sure. I also loved their sour and the saison as these are my personal favorite types of beers. I can also appreciate how good their chocolate peanut butter stout was! No food here, but I do believe that they let you bring your own? Great prices for a flight and all the sample pours you could ask for. I will 100% be going back and bringing everyone I know...
Read moreMy wife and I have been Rapp regulars for a while now and the experience is always excellent. We've been multiple times in the past few months (read: every weekend) and Walter and his crew run a tight ship. Every batch of beer they put out is a good as the last. For such a small brewery their ability to produce such a consistent product is amazing. The DIPA was as well balanced and delicious yesterday as it was our first time in there a year ago and that is something special. They have 100+ recipes they rotate through fairly regularly so there is always something different for Rapp Veterans and Newbies alike. What really sets Rapp apart from the other Pinellas Park area breweries is the employees, they're knowledgeable and passionate about their product but will never hesitate to take the time to explain anything beer related to a consumer who is not well versed in the craft beer world. If you can only visit one brewery on this side of the bay, make...
Read moreLove the place. They have amazing Dunkel Weizen, but that's just a personal favorite of mine. They have all kinds of beers and interesting brews, I believe about 40-50 at any given time. British, German, Irish, you name it.
They have an open smoking section.
They have a different food trailer daily, my favorite is the pizza guy, he stops by with a fully loaded wood-powered brick oven and cooks you pizza just how you want it so you can grab a bite while enjoying your brewsky. Other mobile food shops I remember are the schnitzel cart and the lobster trailer.
They often have trivia tournaments and other events to keep things interesting, it gives you the chance to win gift cards and other goodies.
Gotta check it out if you're in the area, it gets less attention than it should because it's not right in front of the road (which is another plus for me). it's a nice mellow brewery with a good vibe, good music, good food, and the best for...
