The best place to tickle your palate with unusual beers. Many beers are just tasty but some require you to step out of your comfort zone. Mango habanero, smoked wheat, vanilla, popcorn, ... Go enjoy a beer and pay respect to one of the fathers of artisanal beers. In the early 2010s when the craft beer movement was exploding, Rapp brewing was the source of new and exciting beers. It must have been 2013 when I had my first Gose and Lichtenhainer at Rapp brewing. Gregg Rapp believed in small batches (2 barrel brew house), open flame wort boils, and he shared his knowledge with fellow brewers. He had a huge influence on the brew scene and introduced and reintroduced many arcane beer styles to the beer community. His daughter Candi stepped up and into his shoes after Gregg passed in 2019.

I am a regular at Rapp, along with a few other of my meatheaded friends. The Gose is a unique beer that we usually session after Weightlifting, as it works fairly well as a low-alcohol, electrolyte replenisher (salty and sour). Their higher gravity beers seem to be a specialty, and they don't disappoint; many of their beers on tap exceed 7% abv and are delicious. One of the best parts about Rapp is that their menu isn't inundated with over-the-top American (West Coast) IPA's, so if you want a beer that is a bit more balanced than a lemon wedge dipped in grass trimmings, you can get that too. Exceptional variety, and really good quality. Love this place.

Been here a few times and I love the selections they have! Far too often breweries boast a 30 beer menu and it's ALL IPAs, but not this place! I love stouts and ciders and sours and this place had SO MANY options I actually had to sit and think what I wanted! I never have that experience at other breweries because most only have like 1 or 2 options for me. This place is awesome! It's also dog friendly but be sure your pup is behaved. When we went Got Lobstah food truck was there and the lobster roll went so well with my raspberry lemonade cider I got :) my boyfriend got a ginger beer to go with his roll and it was just perfect!

WOW! This is the place what brewers dream up as their place to call home but the regular public also wants to call it home, too. Wonderful selection of their beer that is made on site, board games for all in a warehouse style outside area, and comfortable but simple digs inside for those that wish to talk. They're dog friendly and newbie friendly, answering every question I had with an informative and excited answer. I was met with eye contact and a smile within 2 minutes of standing behind a bunch of other people at the bar. Very personable. I was truly comfortable. The beers were amazing. Their Gose didn't win for nothing, that's for sure. I also loved their sour and the saison as these are my personal favorite types of beers. I can also appreciate how good their chocolate peanut butter stout was! No food here, but I do believe that they let you bring your own? Great prices for a flight and all the sample pours you could ask for. I will 100% be going back and bringing everyone I know...

My wife and I have been Rapp regulars for a while now and the experience is always excellent. We've been multiple times in the past few months (read: every weekend) and Walter and his crew run a tight ship. Every batch of beer they put out is a good as the last. For such a small brewery their ability to produce such a consistent product is amazing. The DIPA was as well balanced and delicious yesterday as it was our first time in there a year ago and that is something special. They have 100+ recipes they rotate through fairly regularly so there is always something different for Rapp Veterans and Newbies alike. What really sets Rapp apart from the other Pinellas Park area breweries is the employees, they're knowledgeable and passionate about their product but will never hesitate to take the time to explain anything beer related to a consumer who is not well versed in the craft beer world. If you can only visit one brewery on this side of the bay, make...

Love the place. They have amazing Dunkel Weizen, but that's just a personal favorite of mine. They have all kinds of beers and interesting brews, I believe about 40-50 at any given time. British, German, Irish, you name it.

They have an open smoking section.

They have a different food trailer daily, my favorite is the pizza guy, he stops by with a fully loaded wood-powered brick oven and cooks you pizza just how you want it so you can grab a bite while enjoying your brewsky. Other mobile food shops I remember are the schnitzel cart and the lobster trailer.

They often have trivia tournaments and other events to keep things interesting, it gives you the chance to win gift cards and other goodies.

Gotta check it out if you're in the area, it gets less attention than it should because it's not right in front of the road (which is another plus for me). it's a nice mellow brewery with a good vibe, good music, good food, and the best for...
