There are a few reasons why we could give a one star review. The couch itself is certainly worthy of five stars but other aspects of the delivery and communications with TDF were not pleasant. The problems with ordering it from TDF include: being delivered incorrectly, taking four times to be delivered, not following through on promises, and having to follow up with them often to make sure we got what we ordered. We ordered a three piece sectional. The first time they attempted to deliver happened at 10 weeks, within the original delivery window. However, one piece was incorrect. We scrambled around, wondering if we ordered it correctly, leading to stress. We confirmed that we did, and our piece was sent to someone else, in a different state. A few weeks later, they told us it was ready to be delivered and we made arrangements to be there for it. Again, it was the same wrong piece. Finally, it was delivered correctly shortly after that, but they brought the wrong pillow. So, after waiting 19 weeks to have all the parts of the couch when promised 8-12 weeks when we ordered, we were told we would be given a partial refund in recognition of all the delays. Our expectation was that the refund would cover the portion of the couch that took so long to get here when in fact, it barely covered the cost of one of the pillows that was also late. While understanding that one mistake in the initial delivery led to these other issues, we still aren’t happy with how the whole situation was resolved. As newlyweds, we were very excited for our first big piece of furniture and were disappointed with the amount of stress this process added. Read moreMy experience with TDF was online. I purchased an item, my credit card was charged the same day, & after 10 days of no communication I called TDF's Pineville location. Apparently the item was unavailable. I was told that 3 would arrive to Ashley's warehouse 1-2 weeks later, but there was no guarantee that I would get 1 of those 3 if there were 3 orders already pending prior to my order. In that case, I would have to wait until more of that item became available & until it was my turn in line. Once at Ashley's warehouse, it could take 2 weeks for Ashley to ship it to TDF, & then I'd have to schedule the delivery to my house. I can see why some of the negative reviews stated that it took months for them to receive their items from TDF. I believe it would have taken me at the very least 1-2 months to receive my item. This is the bad part of my experience, but there was also good.
When I called TDF, the associate was extremely helpful, never pressured me to do what she wanted, gave me the information needed to request a refund, & suggested that I come to the actual store to see if there was a similar item that I liked that they would have available. Just so you know, TDF's Lexington location handles all online purchases. I called them, requested the refund, & received a refund confirmation email within minutes. 3 days later my credit card was reimbursed.

Read moreWe ordered with TDF on June 14th of this year (2025) we went into the store and are experience was very pleasant ordered the couch we liked after looking around for a while in store and deciding on the perfect one for our needs. When asked how long we should expect until the couch will be delivered we are told 4 - 6 weeks as they had 5 of them in stock Great that is understandable! Well that turned out to be incorrect information as when I messaged 4 weeks in about an update we where told they were waiting on the supplier to get more in and that it should be not much longer 2 weeks max. Well again that wasn’t correct as 2 weeks has came and gone and now they are saying we are looking at the end of September “if that doesn’t change again I’m guessing” so I asked if we would be compensated in anyway due to all of the delays we were told no as it is “out of there control” so it seems you as the paying customer has to suffer and grin and bare it until you get what you payed for…. the resolution they offer is to cancel the order. Great prices but make sure you order 6 months before you need it or so...
