Tasty Casual Spot for Colombian Food!
We visited for lunch as a group of 7, and the space accommodated us perfectly.
📍 The Venue: The atmosphere is casual and homey—perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends. Note that all seating is indoors.
🥘 What We Ordered:
Maracuyá Juice (with water): While refreshing, I didn’t feel it was worth the price ($4.25). It was more watery than I expected and not very thick…it was like a Jumex with water 🥲.
Chuleta de Cerdo: A generous portion, which I shared with my husband. It was delicious and well cooked.
Maduro Side: We love maduros, so we ordered it. It was well-prepared, but I think it could have been a bit riper for the ideal flavor.
🧑Service: The waitress was attentive and friendly. As a nice touch, she gave us an extra piece of chuleta for free! 💙
🚗 Parking: Ample parking available, which is always a plus.
I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s a solid choice for a casual, tasty, and affordable lunch. The only things I’d improve are the juices and the ripeness of the maduro. But overall, I would...
Read moreWe were there for breakfast! The owner is abusing the only poor employee to do the job of 3 people! Because of this our food took a long long long time to arrive and plates did not make it at the same time Making us uncomfortable! The Ecuadorian scrambled eggs were very dry. No food in the entire world should be that dry! No matter were the original dish is from! I tried to make the owner aware, but she got defensive stating that I was the only person making comments about the dish ! I'm sure that with that attitude her business may not go far. The first thing a restaurant owner does is to make sure first-time-customers are satisfied. Bad service, poor customer service skills! For Colombian food try other restaurants, Not here especially if you're trying to introduce our Delicious Colombian Food to other cultures like your American friends/ coworkers ! The one star is for the bakery side! Just stop by to pick your order up but I don't recommend the restaurant to dine in!! Sad ! I was kind of excited. This was my first and last...
Read moreTrying Colombian food for the first time. We ordered two different main dishes, both with generous portions. The Arepa Rellena was overall quite salty, and the outer cake, which seemed to be made from rice, was hard and a bit difficult to chew when it cooled down (Google says it’s made from corn). The Bandeja Paisa was excellent, with very crispy pork belly, perfectly cooked half-cooked egg, tasty pork slices, and delicious, sweet, and chewy fried plantains. Highly recommend this dish. In addition to meals, the restaurant also sells a wide variety of desert. The dining environment was clean overall. The staff were very warm and courteous.
