The lack of accommodation or helpfulness at this branch is absolutely unreal. I recently had a name change due to marriage and while WF is happy to open an account for you virtually, they use USPS mail or in person appointments to legally change your name.
I visited this branch to update my name a month ago, and they said that my temporary DMV issued license along with my marriage certificate with my name change was not good enough (every other bank and credit card had no issue with it). Now, I have just left my second in-person appointment with this branch in which I brought my plastic license but forgot my marriage license. And while I completely understand there are policies that must be followed, this banker (who is the same banker from before and remembered me) said not only could she not wait for me to drive home and bring my marriage license back but that her next appointment was much more important than me and she would be with them the rest of the day. I didnāt not like this very much and so I asked her to close my accounts because I did not wish to bank there anymoreā¦her reply is that even though I have my credit card with my old name which she used to verify me, she could not close my account because my new ID did not match my account records. Therefore, I will be going to another branch with my marriage license and new ID, and I will close my accounts and never bank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreKatia the branch Assistant manager is racist and unprofessional. She did not speak when I came even though she walked right passed me after helping another customer. When I got to the counter her and another Hispanic teller declined my transfer. Katia told me to call my other financial establishment to see if there was a problem. Once I got them on the Katia made a scene saying she couldnāt speak with them and that she didnāt tell me to call them. I would not have called them for I knew there wasnāt an issue I do this every month. Itās sad to be a black person and still having to deal with racist behavior. I noticed this branch is frequented with more Hispanic customers hence Katia and the other teller speaking fluent Spanish. Iāve been with Wells Fargo for 28 years. Itās sad I had to go to a āblack neighborhood ā branch to get the service I deserve. Once my transfer action was completed Katia refused to say thank you. After I said thank you she said āokie dokieā. She made spectacle of me in front of the entire lobby. Black people deserve the same treatment. We have not done anything to be treated differently. Katia needs some advice and counsel on treating...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHaving made my 2nd appointment today to open a business bank account, after banking with Wells Fargo for over 25 years, I am extremely displeased at the lack of customer service and lack of consideration that the āVice Presidentā JYOTI GOKHALE exemplified today. She was persistent that if her 4:00 appointment came in that she would have to cease the application and I could complete online or reschedule to come in another day. Unfortunately things happen beyond our control that take a little longer than the anticipated time slot. She didnāt seem to care that I have scheduled time away from my business 2 times now and due to her lack of customer service, she has caused some of my accounts to be delayed on payment. Seems to me she could have spared 15 minutes to ensure I was a satisfied client but for some reason I was an inconvenience to her today. I tried to be frank, respectful, punctual etc in my timeliness of providing everything she needed. To say I am disappointed in her lack of ambition and attention to the customers needs is an understatement. Hopefully she was just having a bad day or maybe she needs to find a little wiggle room...
