Great selection of pieces. Very kind staff. Highly recommend this location.
I came into the Fahrenheit Ceramic Studio as a walk-in, warmly welcomed by the employee. They took their time to explain each step of the process.
I loved the amount of space they allowed in between tables, allowing for easy social distancing, and how each table was prepared with it's own hand sanitizer.
Paint colors were plenty. The convenience of seeing exactly what each color looks like AFTER the firing process made chosing colors a breeze. Each pant color also conveniently had their own tiny squeeze bottles for tiny details and precision, and that really impressed me. In addition to the paints there was a variety of sponges and brushes to paint neatly organized and plentiful.
Once I was done painting, I brought my piece to the staff member and they explained how the firing process works, what to expect, and when my piece would be ready for pick up.
Picking up my piece was just as pleasant as my painting experience. A different staff member was there and was just as kind and caring as the last.
My piece was brought to me very quickly and in perfect condition. Very smooth glossy finish. No nicks from an over crowded kiln. Overall, I was very happy with my experience with Fahrenheit Ceramic Studio. Highly...
Read moreA great set-up for going by yourself to have Zen painting time, or to join a group of friends for a night out. You can bring in beverages and/or food if you'd like from the surrounding eateries in Pitman- there's plenty to choose from. Pieces to paint are in all price ranges and all sizes- an assortment of objects from kitchen objects, to Sugar Skulls, to Christmas decor, to plaques, or words, etc... You pay a studio fee of $8.PP (except for date night- 1 studio charge per couple I believe), this includes all paints and brushes. The staff members are super friendly. I've been here 4 times now on different days and times- make sure to make reservations for a painting table, not so much midday, but nights get busy. Once you are finished painting your object (make sure to put your initials, and date if you'd like, on the bottom!), take it to the counter to pay. Fahrenheit staffers keep your piece(s) to kiln fire it . You will be given a date to pick-up your pieces- usually a week later. I've seen people of all ages enjoy Farenheits cozy and welcoming shop. The objects I made in the photos were being sold as sushi dishes, but I used one as a tealight holder and the other...
Read moreI always enjoy coming here. The only thing that I would consider even slightly negative is that it is a small place, and so it can seem noisy sometimes, especially if there are large groups or many young children. Still, there are ways around that, such as going later in the evening or attending one of the more adult-oriented themed events. Compared to other ceramic studios I've been to, there also seems to be a somewhat more limited selection of pieces... but again, this is a small studio, probably only half the size of some of the big places in Camden County. It's to be expected that Fahrenheit simply won't have the shelf space for all the products of a larger location.
That said, the staff at Fahrenheit is more personable and pleasant than anywhere else I've been. No matter how busy the studio is, they still circulate among the tables, checking on all their customers and making sure everyone is doing well. In other studios, the staff is usually too busy painting their own projects to assist with the customers'.
Overall? I'll take crowded and loud with a side of caring and involved any day, thanks. See you next...
