Boyd-Quinson Theater: Barrington Stage Company — Attraction in Pittsfield

I went last night to see "Blues for an Alabama Sky" it was absolutely fantastic! It was my first time at this theatre seeing a play and it was a wonderful atmosphere, sets were amazing, extremely detailed and very thoughtful. The actors were phenomenal and really pulled you into each monologue they gave and made you feel like you were in the room. The play hits on so many important subjects and themes that are important even in todays world. didn’t like the idea of still wearing masks, how long is this going to go on. Went to the Big E with thousands of people, no masks. There was no one sitting close to us and yet everytime I pulled my mask down to try to talk to my friend there was someone in the aisle telling me to put it back up. This will prevent me from seeing another show until they drop this mask wearing. The show All of Me was very good though. The acting was amazing and singing for the two shows I went to this weekend, June 2021 HOWEVER THEY REQUIRED A MASK BOTH INSIDE AND OUT. This was not stated on the website not when buying tickets. They seat you 6 feet from anyone and even if vaccinated have to wear a mask. The whole thing is rediculous especially outside.
