I go running with my dog ever morning at this park. I take my son in the afternoon. Well today we decided to go as a family, my husband on his skateboard my son (3 years old) on his scooter and me running with my dog. We follow the rules on the path, but today my son stopped to get a drink of water while my husband held onto our dog. (3ft leash) and a man going way to fast (speed limit is 15mph) on the path nearly hit my son, I grabbed my son and the man said "oh I was gonna say on your left" and before I could get a word out my husband was holding our dogs leash about 10 ft in front of us and the man without slowing at all (after almost hitting my son) says on your left (he's in the middle of the lane closer to the right side) and hits our dog, ripping the leash out of my husband's hand, my dog runs strait to my sob and I, as he falls to the floor and say your need to watch your xxxking dog. (My dog was made a foot away from my husband but still well on the right side) the man gets up pissed off and rides away leaving us there with a crying kid who just watched some guy hit his dog and a bleeding dog. Read moreAmazing walking trail. I walked two miles and doubled back. And I don't know how much farther it went. Plenty of parking. Entrance to the trail is found behind the Sr. Center. The trail meanders throughout a residential area. Really awesome trail for a long walk or bike. Highly recommend....
