Update: 04.05.24 Stopped in early afternoon, after lunch hour though, to make a quick return. Had the receipt on my phone In the Walmart app. There were eight people ahead of me and two people at the counter but it took 20 minutes to get to the front of the line. Don't know what was going on with these other customers but I feel like there needs to be a relief service representative to step in and just get that line down when there are uncomplicated returns or people not needing to use the financial services to send money to friends and family, etc.. Left our family with no time to shop, so we left and will probably end up at Target next time since it's closer.
Update: 12.28.23 Valentine's Day & St. Patrick's Day merch is already on the shelves! Not much Christmas merch left except for clothing.
Update: 08.22.23 Halloween is apparently already here when plenty of back-to-school supplies! Couldn't find anyone to let us in to a changing room though we both looked for 5 mins... That's a typical occurrence, doesn't seem like there's a dedicated employee at the counter there for some time. Otherwise, store was clean & orderly. Don't expect everything to be in stock late afternoon to early evening, as this isn't the case, and it's understandable. Cashier was friendly & polite - another anomaly at this store, but very welcomed. Couldn't update bathroom as we just. couldn't. go. in. there. again. (Hope they've really cleaned it up since our really yucky experience there & they check out its condition regularly for real.)
Update 9.20.22: Lots of stocking going on for fall & Christmas already. Garden center more sparse, replaced with bicycles & winter needs. Women's bathroom is really unacceptable. Doors don't even lock since metal panels don't align, so can't be sure of privacy unless you hold doors closed while using the facilities. Garbage was overflowing with paper towels, etc., just not well-maintained.
All the good prices you'd expect at Walmart, but parking is often full near the front, even disabled spots are always full, which is hard when I bring a disabled family member. Bathrooms need to be cleaned more often. Usually sufficient number of cashiers, typically a reasonable wait to pay. Dressing room attendant is unfriendly & spent a lot of time talking with other employees nearby while I waited to try on some pants. They were talking about another coworker, very unpleasant & rude. I go for the prices, not the service or "ambiance" so my expectations aren't too high. Good location off 580 at...
Read moreSadly, The Walmart at Rosewood Dr, Pleasanton wasn’t as good as the one I use back in West Lafayette, Indiana. I came to California for an internship and decided to go get some stuff at the store. They had limited items and didn’t have stuff I really wanted. 🥲. I mean even my fav pasta wasn’t there, no salmon, no Tilapia, no parboiled Rice hahahaha and I almost brought mine from school before I removed it from the luggage. I didn’t even see chicken drumsticks haha. However, I decided to ask a Walmart staff at the store about where I can get Ball pepper, fresh garlic etc and he mentioned I will have to go to a different Walmart Neighborhood Market or so. Well, the Walmart I went to might be a good option for those living around but for me who came in from Indiana, haha. It was a JOKE. When I spoke to a friend about it, she told me it is the biggest one nereby, I guess they are used to it then. Another mess was the app wasn’t helpful. I normally use the Walmart app in store at West Lafayette to locate items whilst I am in the store but it wasn’t very helpful at this location. I check the app and get to the section only to see something entirely different. It was totally frustrating to me. Oh well! I will just order my stuff from Amazon. 🥲🥲. Mann, They didn’t even have Maruchan Ramen reallyyy??? And yeah! If you are new to the area just like me, be prepared to pay for your bag 😄. Yeah I get the whole idea. I mean Aldi doesn’t even give you bags. If it is for the environment and climate, count me in. I am not sure the reason for charging for bag at Walmart thou. If it is also for being environment friendly then yeah thumbs up. If not, Well, I do not have anything to say 😃😃. I hope to visit the other Walmart the guy told me about. Hopefully, I have a better experience lol. Till then, Take...
Read moreDon't shop at this specific Walmart, I'm convinced they're just walking around doing nothing talking to one another or calling in because this generation is nothing but kids that work at Walmart that don't know what's the difference between having a job and doing your job. I placed a order pick up and this was at 12pm and it said it would be ready between 5-6pm. 5pm came I got a email that it was delayed due to them being behind so when I got to the store which I got off of work at 5:00 headed to the store got there at 5:30. And it still wasn't ready I went and spoke with somebody inside they said they haven't even started my order yet and everything I was picking up was for dinner purposes with co-workers therefore it was crucial I needed it as soon as possible. They stated to me it might be another hour or two so I canceled my order when I look at my order when it showed it was canceled it only canceled half because it said the other half was ready meanwhile my wife is trying to call Walmart inside because she's 5 hours away and trying to speak to somebody to resolve the issue that I don't want any of it after all. With that being said she called over 15 times numerous different departments it rang and rang and kept hanging up on her like somebody was hanging up the phone in pick up in associate. I do not recommend this Walmart at all well I was getting other items in Walmart after my cancellation there was so many people in two lines the lines were so far back and after 15 minutes they finally opened up another line. What are all these workers doing at Walmart at this specific Walmart they are clearly not doing their job correctly. I suggest you have more than two people working...
