The only saving grace this visit was the energy and attentiveness of the shift lead, NOT the waitress. Host was not good and our waitress was absolutely awful. Host sat us at table and literally whisked away so fast even though I had a baby with me and needed a booster, idk usually they ask us or something before walking away so fast. Husband went to the restroom and our waitress came up and said hi and just stared at me, had to do a double take and ask are you here for drinks? And she said yes and I said okay let's wait till my husband comes back and I asked for a booster.
She comes back a few min later again, doesn't introduce herself at ALL, no idea what her name is. Got our drinks and order done no issue. Food comes out, an expo forgot sides to my husbands plate had to flag someone down to get it fixed. Our server walked by several times after we got our food and did not stop to ask us one time if our food was okay or if we needed anything. Finally I flagged her down for some things. At this point we are just annoyed and looking to leave. My husband flagged down what looked like the manager but he was shift lead and he was excellent by helping us out with our complaints. He brought the server over and introduced her and apologized. Server responded with "I'm sorry I didn't know I was being so bad at my job". I said it's fine asked for boxes and check. She came back with just boxes. Had to flag another person down for the check, at this point I'm sure her ego was hurt so she was done with us.
Tips to the incompetent server that has zero self awareness apparently: 1) introduce yourself when you get to a table don't just say hi, lead the convo and let us know your name 2) when you see your tables getting food, go check on them and ask how the food is or if they need anything else 3) when you see empty sodas, offer refills 4) if you ever get complained on again, next time don't respond with "i didn't know I was so bad at my job" sarcastically, say something along the lines of "im sorry, I didn't realize there was an issue, how can I help or make things better?" Get out of the customer service field if you cant do these very simple things please cause you were...
Read moreI’m leaving this review in hopes that management sees it and takes it as constructive feedback for improvement.
Day 1:
My family and I placed an online order and parked in one of the designated curbside spots. We waited, but no one came out until we called the number listed on the sign. That part wasn’t a huge issue, but what really frustrated us was the lack of utensils in our to-go order. You’d expect basic items like forks or spoons to be included, but none were.
Day 2:
Despite the first experience, we decided to give it another try. This time, I went inside to pick up the food myself. I asked the employee at the front desk if utensils were in the bag—she assured me they were and said not to worry. But when we opened our food later, once again, there were no utensils inside.
Day 3 (Sunday):
There were already cars parked in the curbside spots, even though those vehicles weren’t there for pickup, and no one was regulating the spaces. We were told via the app that our order would be ready by 11:30 AM, but we never received a notification. I assume this was because the employee didn’t mark it ready in the system. We had to call in again, and when we did, we were told the food was ready. This time, they did include utensils, which we appreciated.
However, one other issue: the food was way too salty. A little less salt would go a long way in improving the meal quality.
⸻
It might seem like small things, but from a customer standpoint, it’s incredibly frustrating to deal with these issues—especially three times in a row. When you order food to-go, especially when you’re not eating at home, basic things like utensils and clear communication should be standard.
If we do decide to order from this location again, we’ll be sure to double-check everything ourselves. But overall, it feels like this location is cutting corners on customer service and consistency. We hope these experiences are taken seriously and lead to some...
Read moreDining here has been a consistently satisfying experience. If you are in the Dublin Pleasanton area and have not tried it you definitely should give it a try. If you are driving past Dublin towards San Francisco, and want to take a break for dinner take the Hacienda Drive exit - you will be happy! :).
Just wanted to capture details of what we ordered this time. We are a family of 3, and the order was a bit much in quantity (utilized 3 to-go boxes for leftovers :)). Uploaded photos.
Starters: 1 Chicken Chile Verde Nachos Chicken Tortilla - Ordered a cup instead of the bigger bowl Slow-Braised Pork Shoulder Sticky Ribs + Umami Fries - Now this ones a bit dicey and depends on who is ordering it. The meat is juicy inside to a good extent but the outside is cooked till crispy. Somehow we like the all-out-soft texture of meat when we are ordering ribs, so this was a bit so-so for us. But I am sure many actually prefer the crispy exterior and if you are one, go for it. 3 Roasted Rosemary Chicken Fried Hush Puppies Small Plate - This one was great too! 2 Dessert : White Chocolate Chip Brownie
