Unfortunately, I had to edit my review and remove stars after our experience today. I met my mom and grandmother (who is 87 for the purpose of context) for lunch, we've eaten here quite a few times since we've discovered it, and always had a pleasurable experience. Today was the exception, and hope it was just an off day.
Where we were seated was by a door that opened frequently due to guests being seated outside, and today was much cooler than it has been in a week or so. My grandmother expressed she was really cold, and honestly, so were me and my daughter. We asked our server, Jazmin, if we could move to a table away from the draft/door. Without asking the hostess, she said there "might" be reservations at the other tables, but we were welcome to sit in the bar area. We really didn't want to be a bother, so we would tried to stick it out. My grandmother was visually uncomfortable, so my mom went and asked the hostess if there was a table away from the door, and she immediately said "Of course! We are so sorry, there is another room in the back you can sit." She showed us to a table in the back section of the restaurant, and apologized again before she walked away. The server for that section came over and introduced himself (Scott), but Jazmin would still be helping us. Our request to move tables had nothing to do with our server, but after we were moved she seemed annoyed. We then felt like the reason she didn't try to find an alternate table for us was because it would be an inconvenience to her, as we were now no longer in her "section". We got our appetizers pretty quickly, but our food did take longer than it should have, and Jazmin wasn't as attentive (i.e., my glass sat empty for over half my meal and was never refilled).
If this was our fist time coming, it would probably be our last. But since we have only had positive dining experiences, and the cauliflower steak is phenomenal, we will probably just wait a little bit...

We wanted to try it out when they first opened, but the pandemic caused a delay, to say the least. But, we finally got the opportunity to go in and give them a shot. We were very pleased!
Jason was our waiter/server (I hate BOTH of those terms); but he was very helpful and made some great suggestions to guide us in the right direction. He was correct about the cornbread!
The 1st pic, is a salad with skirt steak added to it. My wife loved it. The 2nd, is the red wine braised short ribs. Full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and no knife needed. Fork tender, and crumbled with each bite, but wasn't dry.
The 3rd pic, are the brussel sprouts. Don't sleep on these! Grilled to perfection, and the flavor was just right. If you have a peanut allergy, beware! Or ask for them without the peanuts sprinkled in. Either way, you won't be disappointed.
The 4th is a picture of the Japanese old fashioned. I've had quite a few of these from different places, and this one ranks up there with the best of them. The whiskey used wasn't a cheap, horrible flavor whiskey. This one was really good, with a good oak flavor, that went well with the bitters and the apricot garnish. I'm going back for this one again soon.
They also have some of the meals listed on the menu, ready to take home and heat up if you prefer. There is a small "store" inside where you can purchase the items. Perfect if you don't have time to wait on a table, but want to warm it up yourself in your own digs. They also have wines, and a few desserts to grab and go.
Overall, it's a great spot and I'm glad we decided to finally go in when we were able to. Give them a try. You won't be...

my family and I would always go to this plaza but ive never noticed or tried market Tavern and boy was i in for a surprise! my friend and I wanted to grab dinner and drinks to celebrate/catch up so we checked this place out and it was a pretty cool place.
the margherita pizza was enjoyable for me since the thickness of the crust wasn't too thick or thin, there was oozing marinara sauce and melting mozzarella cheese pairing with the thin-ish base of the pizza in each bite made it so freaking bomb! besides their food menu having more home-y /unique items - i'd say that their cocktail menu is also pretty unique. the drink i tried was super different from what i'd normally order as it's more tangy, citrusy, and spicy with the chili powder on the orange (which is given at the side) - if you're looking for a casual yet intimate date spot, family dinner, or catch up spot with friends then market tavern is a great choice!
tips: lots of parking spaces available, it is across the way from the movies, plenty of drink options on the menu, and lots of dessert options nearby! - family &...
