Where to begin?! I typically do not write reviews, as I am not a shopper, especially for jewelry. However, my experience with Barons Jewelers was exceptional. I am a first-time customer. I was seeking a pink tourmaline statement ring to celebrate the birth of my first grandchild. After searching around on-line, I came across a stunning one-of-a-kind ring on Barons’ website. I sent them an inquiry, and Michael Stanley responded within a couple of hours. I went to the store a few days later to look at this ring, and I instinctively took along a watch and a charm bracelet that needed some attention. Michael met me as I entered the store, and he showed me the ring. He was very attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. I also met Barons’ president, Ronnie Heller, and he joined in our conversation. Both understood the significance of this ring to me, and they answered every question. I never felt pressured in any way, and I did buy it. I wish to make a couple of points:
The customer service is outstanding! All of Barons’ staff are highly professional. They also have gifted artisans onsite - one who sized the ring while I waited, another who examined and cleaned my watch, and a third who “welded” charms to my bracelet. Beautiful work!
They have a gorgeous selection of all types of jewelry. I walked around the store as I waited for my jewelry, and I was struck by their selection.
I am thrilled with my purchase, and I...
Read moreGoing to make this short and simple. We first initially set up an appointment with Mike. Due to this Pandemic we walked in with our masks and my fiance and I knew barons jewelers was a high end jewelers. We both fell in love with Tacori and had our eyes set on going with a Tacori ring. As we walked into Barons we both were dressed down. Due to the business we run. We are both in the fitness industry and both always wear Track outfits. Mike at first was helping us but it seemed to both of us he was judging a book by its cover. My fiance and I are both Hispanic. Mike just didn't seem to enthusiastic to guide us into what was best for both of us. He hesitated alot. Maybe he thought we weren't serious about making a purchase. Personally, I read his body language as if he was being very prejudice against the two of us. As I told my fiance, I don't think it's going to work out here. Another lady approached us and helped us find a ring of our choice. I never write reviews on other business but the way we got treated by Mike, I think wasn't ok. Hopefully he didn't get credit for the sale. Because our goal was to buy a ring not on credit but paid off. The reason why I gave them 3 stars was only because of Mike. I wish I remembered the sales ladies name but she was Amazing.
Ring is beautiful, thank you Tacori for designing such...
Read moreWe had a horrible experience with a previous jeweler, which left us hesitant to trust anyone else. My grandfather left me a tanzanite stone, which I asked my (now) fiancé to use in an engagement ring. He went to the only jeweler he knew--the father of a high school acquaintance--to have the ring made. Three months later, we returned to the store to have the ring cleaned, and discovered it was cracked soon after leaving. Unfortunately, the jeweler refused to take responsibility. I was devastated as, more important than the cost of replacing the stone, it was one my grandfather had chosen for me before he passed away. Needless to say, we did not know where to go or how to remedy the situation.
I went to Barons because my mom bought her (upgraded) wedding ring from Ronnie. Ronnie and his team immediately put me at ease. They were knowledgeable, honest, and sympathized with what had happened. They found a solution that was within our budget and moved mountains to have the stone replaced within just a few days so that I could wear my ring in Washington, DC (where we were moving to spend our final semester of law school). The Barons team did a wonderful job of turning a bad situation into a story with a happy ending. We could not have been happier with...
