GameStop — Attraction in Plymouth

GameStop is an ok store for video games. Over the years, I think the GameStop brand has been losing its identity, from a gaming store to a... Nerd/Geek merchandising store, With video games. (I'm a nerd/geek, so it's ok for me to say that) You walk in and the first thing you see is a HUGE wall of just collectibles, clothing, mugs, toys, and props. I mean, I don't care if that section was small, but no... it's like the biggest section in the store. Again, it's more like a merch store with video games nowadays. I'd say 70% merch, 30% video games. It's cool, I can't knock it, but at the same time, Gamestop is a video gaming store. Even then, the whole rewards program system really went down after the discontinuation of the Elite Pro status. Prices are mediocre, to meh, and not even worth trading in anything, whether it came out a week ago or years. To be honest, GameStop has really fallen short of what it use to be, to the point to where I only buy nerdy/geeky merch from there, and my games from Wal-Mart and BestBuy! If you're looking for a gaming store, best just go to BestBuy or other known name brand stores, cause GameStop has really dipped these past...

We went in today looking for a switch. Autumn greeted us when we walked in and asked if we needed help. She was so knowledgeable and sweet! We went back and fourth for a while trying to decide between a switch lite and a regular switch. After about 20 minutes of us trying to decide, autumn helped us find a fantastic deal at another store. She also helped us find the cutest carrying cases for our kids! We went to the other store to pick up the switch and had a bad experience with the employee, who also messed up the pricing. We went back to the Plymouth game stop hoping Autumn was still there and could explain the mess up and help us fix it. As we pulled up she was leaving with her husband to go for their valentines date, but when she saw us she stopped and offered to come back inside and helped us fix the mistake. Every time I have come in and she has been working, she has been so kind and friendly. She instantly puts you at ease and if she doesn’t know the answer for a question, she’ll find it! Absolutely recommend...

WORST GAMESTOP EVER !! I went in asking about some games on my lunch break i work across the street an employee named Autumn helped me but wasnt knowledgable in any games, that's okay I suppose but then she gave me attitude and seemed very displeased to want to help me with anything.very rude and distrspectful Not to mention that there was PDA with another customer or friend that was hanging out in the store. They were making out and chit chatting with no intentions in being helpful. I was disgusted very uncomfortable akward and not a pleasent experiance and left.
