We stumbled upon a hidden gem during our trip—the town of Point Pleasant, featuring the Mothman Museum, Point Pleasant Trading Company, Mothman Blacklight Mini-Golf, and What’s the Scoop. All within walking distance of each other.

Mothman Blacklight Mini-Golf is a vibrant, blacklight-lit adventure featuring sci-fi props, sound effects, and murals that bring the Mothman legend to life. Each hole offers a new experience, and the 9th hole, in particular, was a standout with its creative design.

The Mothman Museum allowed us to delve into the local folklore and history surrounding the Mothman sightings. The museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the events of 1966 and the cultural impact they’ve had on the town.

We treated ourselves to delicious ice cream at What’s the Scoop. Their creatively themed “Mothman” is not only tasty but also perfect for snapping some fun photos.

We also explored the local shops, including the Point Pleasant Trading Company, which offers a variety of cryptid-themed merchandise and souvenirs. We walked away with lots of fun shirts, buttons, and a fluffy Mothman plushie.

This unexpected detour turned into a memorable adventure, and we’re already planning our return for the...

Everything was clean and easy to navigate.

They free provide lockers to store your personal items while you golf.

The decorations were vibrant and exciting and the course was well maintained.

It ended up being too scary for my daughter so she and I had to quit early while my son and husband finished the course.

The fella running the ticket counter very kindly refunded two of our admissions without us even asking, very much appreciated!

The course is on the second floor and as far as I know is only accessible by stair so keep that in mind if this is a challenge for you or someome in your group.

Over all extremely pleased with our experience, even if it was too spooky for some of us the folks running it were very kind and understanding of our situation and still gave us a...

There have been fewer happier marriages in American history than the throupling of mothman, blacklights and mini golf. Atop the gift shop neighboring the world famous Mothman Museum is Mothman Blacklight Mini Golf. The story is clear right away: Mothman has escaped from his contained governmental pod and the course weaves through the tale of finding him once again. The glowing adds wonder, mystery and an untamed sense of danger that can only be attributed to Mothman's escape. My only complaint is that it was only nine holes. Here's hoping that one day, we can putt putt all the way through...
