Good grief, this place was busy! After talking with a staff member, we learned that they were short-staffed and one of their servers ran to the back of house to cook. Almost every table was full. Crazy situation. All this to say: we probably didn't get to see Rio Bravo 2 at its best. The food was mediocre. My wife liked the veggies in her Pollo Adobe, but the chicken was tough and overcooked. My Special Chimichanga was okay, but it didn't quite live up to its name. The chicken was well-seasoned, but that was the most enjoyable part. If red were a color, the rice would have been awesome. But we liked our server and the place seemed popular with the locals. We saw the owner of the Mothman Museum grabbing some food to go. Maybe go when it's not as busy. It was crowded even after the post-church rush.

I don't know where these other reviewers ate but I am pretty sure it wasn't this place. Ordered just about the simplest dish you can make, Tacos de Carne Asada. First, I actually specified I wanted lettuce, onion and cilantro on my tacos. The waiter didn't ask corn or flour so I assumed it would be corn (you know.. like EVERY OTHER MEXICAN RESTAURANT) Anywho, I got a bunch of dried out BURNT meat on an empty of condiment stale azz flour shell. When I asked about it, he says thats how tacos come there. NO THANK YOU!!! Waiter tries to fix it, brought me corn shells, lettuce and cilantro (still no onions.) I took one bite and gagged. Ended up him taking the meal off my bill.

Although “busier than usual” on google maps, it was almost empty when we arrived at 6:30 on a Sunday evening. Older but fun decor. Waitstaff were friendly and spoke Spanish with me. My huge margarita came out suspiciously fast. Food was delicious and the mothman burrito was a hit with my 14 year old. Inexplicably the kitchen cranked the music way up and started singing half way through our meal which made it twice the fun. Highly recommend if you’re in Point Pleasant for the Mothman.

I recently dined at the Rio Bravo 2, a Mexican restaurant, and I must say it was a delightful experience. I'd rate it 4 out of 5 stars. The standout feature of the Rio Bravo 2 was undoubtedly the food. The dishes were not only delicious but also authentic. The menu offered a wide variety of options to cater to different tastes, and the portion sizes were satisfying.

Equally impressive was the service. The staff at Rio Bravo 2 were attentive and friendly. They made sure we felt welcome and went out of their way to accommodate any special requests. The promptness in taking orders and delivering food added to the overall positive dining experience.

The restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, providing a comfortable and relaxed setting for a meal with family or friends. It's a great spot for both casual gatherings and special occasions.

If you're looking for delicious Mexican cuisine served with a smile, Rio Bravo 2 is a fantastic choice. The combination of great food and friendly service makes it a restaurant worth visiting...

Warning everyone from out of town who visits for the Mothman museum - look elsewhere for dining! Our table was sticky and not very clean. We were excited to order a couple margaritas, but when we showed our out of state IDs (something a tourist spot should be very used to!) the server gave us a weird look and started talking about us with another server inches away from our table without addressing any issues WITH us. Completely unprofessional, and the worst part was the margs came out awful. They were warm and full of syrup with zero tequila in them. Total waste of money. If this was on purpose that's even worse. As I said, if there's an "issue" you need to talk to your customer. When I asked about it they said "that's how they make them." Worst cocktail I've ever had. And the food was mediocre at best. My taco bowl was taken over by the amount of sour cream on it so I didn't get a good taste of much else. Honestly I'm shocked at all the...

I instantly love this place. It's pretty, clean and they have a very friendly and helpful staff.

Not to mention the food! THE DELICIOUS FOOD!!

I mean, it's just fantastic. Delicious, authentic flavors and the portion sizes are so generous. Go ahead, get the carnitas quesadilla and I dare you to try and finish it without having to get a to go box. It was huge, packed with meat that just had an incredible flavor.

The next time I had arroz y camarones and the combination with queso and seasoned mushrooms was to die for.

It also boasts a delightful little front opening onto the beautiful old street part of town. So enjoy a nice walk looking at the historic buildings and shops after your meal.

I'm going to come back again and again to keep trying items all over their menu.

Sincerely, when someone next says to you "What shall we do for dinner?" Go try Rio Bravo 2, you will not be...
