Point Pleasant Riverfront Park — Attraction in Point Pleasant

Another successful Mothman festival! I love that the live music is on the riverfront. It was perfect this day for it also. Little hot but the cool breeze leveled it out. If you had shade then it was a pleasant experience. The music was great and the people were into it. I love the murals, statues and the trails to walk along the park. Point Pleasant Riverfront Park is a beautiful and peaceful place to walk. I loved the murals along the floodwall—they’re full of color and history and really give the town character. The statues along the way were a great touch too, especially as the path leads naturally into Tu-Endie-Wei State Park. The whole walk is easy and accessible, with great views of the river. A pleasant surprise. I grew up in Point and hadn't been back in a few years. The Riverfront Park is a nice place to take a stroll and take in the story of Point Pleasant in mural form. There's also a picnic area which was a good place to meet family for lunch. I'd also say the downtown area has all kinds of gems to explore.
