I made a random stop at a strip mall to add a stop to my GPS. I parked directly in front of Rio's Meat Market. I went inside because I love meat. What a happy accident! Rio's has an excellent selection of meats and sausages, including 3 different kinds of savory Brazilian sausage. (We cooked two kinds today- delicious!) They also had choice t-bone steak, cut 1 1/2" thick (the way steak should be cut). The butcher was very helpful, describing their unique sausages. I asked him for suggestions on what to serve with the t-bone. He showed me a popular Brazilian grain and explained how to serve the grain by mixing it with white rice, onions and tomatoes. I found my new meat market!!! This place is awesome. They have great quality meats among other things. My first time going there was this past weekend. My wife and I were helped by a young man who explained all the different types of seasoned and non seasoned meats lined up . Super friendly. He even gave us some seasoning and garlic bread on the house !! This is unheard of now a days .and to add to that , the garlic bread and salt seasoning was DELICIOUS!
