We LOVE this restaurant and order from this location, in particular; at least 2-3xs a week. I know we (Portland), are the home of the artisan food-carts and trendy establishments. I get it. However, in my opinion, hands down the best Mexican food is here; the street tacos are mandatory with every order. The carnitas taco is by far, my absolute favorite. The asada is also pretty good.as well. So good! Make sure to get the homemade corn tortillas. It makes the tacos taste even more amazing! Not sure how they do it, if it is love in there or whatever; I/we are absolutely here for it! Honestly, every single item I have ever ordered from here is really, really good. Even the breakfast burritos and French toast platter are delectable. We usually order our food through a third-party delivery service. However, this is the only "fast food" place I actually enjoy going to. Last time they let me try this kind of hot cocoa, but different. OMG it was heavenly! Huge bonus when pulling up to the restaurant; the staff are always so kind, polite and just all-around good people. Courteous, respectful, appreciative for your business. I truly can't say enough good about this place! They always get the order right too! That, alone is so deeply appreciated and so refreshing! The prices are beyond "fair" and appropriate in this economy. I really am grateful for this location in particular and all the delicious food and atmosphere they create. Lifelong...

I was hungry for my first breakfast burrito in Portland and this Don Pedro location came up as a good option nearby to the neighborhood I just moved to. Love that there was a drive-thru and so that's the option I chose. It was a late Sunday morning so it took a bit of time. You definitely want to have a little bit of patience.... This ain't Taco Bell.

Ordered a bacon breakfast burrito and two carne tacos..... Tacos were standard fare but had tasty meat with the salsa they provided make them very good. The breakfast burrito was put together very well, which means for me plenty of egg and bacon and good overall texture. Finally with the salsa they provide(I had the green sauce) it makes a very good breakfast burrito. For only $7 it may be the best deal I've seen!! I came back the next day and ordered exactly the same items and it was even better. Truly this is about 4 or 4.5 stars but the quality of the food, how affordable and economical they price it, plus the big bonus of a drive thru and this place deserves more. So they get a well...

I used to love coming to this location it's just blocks from my home but I have had nothing but bad experiences lately and Maria that works in the drive-thru window late at night before closing is the most rude and disrespectful employee I've met anywhere in a long time, I don't know if she just doesn't like her job or if she's pissed off at the people that come right before closing either way he shouldn't work here if she is unhappy about taking care of the customers I tried to call this morning to speak to the owner or manager but the phone rings over 30 times and then it seems that somebody picks up and then hangs up nobody ever answers so I can't even talk to the owner or manager to let them know what's going on so I chose to write this review so if you're thinking of going to Don Pedro's go somewhere else at least to another location unless you enjoy rude service and long dark hairs in your food wrapped around your carne asada but now I'm wondering is if she did it...

I have been here a dozen or so times for breakfast burritos with mixed results. Recently the chorizo has been dry/burnt which is a shame as it was delicious a year ago. I tried a beef chimichanga and don't make the same mistake. It was made with ground beef which just burnt in the fryer and turned in to a crunchy mess of oil. Completely inedible. I had never heard of ground beef in a chimichanga and won't be getting one from here again. This will make me second guess ordering a burrito or anything else after this.

Delicious little restaurant that even has a drive through! Though the staff doesn't speak much English I had no issues placing my order (twice now 😋) or retrieving it, and they're super friendly. The first time I tried tacos and the chimichanga with rice, it was delicious! The chicken was juicy and it was seasoned great with a perfect amount of caso on top. The second time I got beef fajitas and they are great too! Excellent prices too!
