Double Up Bar — Restaurant in Portland

Tried this place out tonight. When i got home with my sweet n sour chicken i opened the box and could tell right away it was not fresh but microwaved chicken. I waited 20+ minutes for my food and was the only one ordering food. No reason this should be anything but fresh. I took a bit and knew it was DEFINITELY warmed up left overs. I paid $15 for that! I called the restaurant and they claimed they never microwave anything and the food was fresh. I told them if this was fresh then they are terrible cooks. They didnt offer to exchange it or a refund. This place is hands down the best place to play poker in the area, but for whatever reason, they never seem very crowded at all. Most comfortable chairs I've ever sat in at a poker place, never tried the food or drinks but this place is very clean, cozy and comfortable. Much different than the rest of the area that's for sure. Really rather impressed with this establishment, especially considering I've never seen anyone other than the Asian couple that I think owns it behind the counter. Must be some long hours, but they're always polite and helpful, and as long as they've got people playing, they'll stay open late. Great food! Recommend the salt and pepper pork chop house. The fried rice is to die for the salt and pepper shrimp taste soooo good and dont get me started on the house lo mein it's to die for! Everything is home made so family style to means a little more love was put in to the process "pictures have been added to site". Rumors are there going to add a food delivery service soon!!
