This place has it all. Tons of field! Great place for the hobbyist to take their planes and drones. Great place to bring your children especially toddlers as you can let them run for days and still have line of sight on them..Oh and bring the family dog as this place is animal friendly, you can also take your bbq and fishing poles or a boat! There's places to drop your boat in and do a little fishing or just a few loaves of bread and feed the ducks... I would definitely suggest this place as a family and animal friendly place to go for the day...I loved it there and go back...

A delightful little piece of outdoor paradise in Mill Park! I figured with this park being somewhat small, it wouldn’t have much to offer - and I’m happy to say I was wrong. Somehow they’ve managed to include a playground area, picnic areas, a wide meadow, walking trails, and several different forested areas, all in a few blocks. I come here with my dog all the time. He’s reactive to other dogs, and this is a park frequented by dog-owners, but there’s still enough space that we can go and have fun without having to directly come...

This is a nicely forested and shaded park. The playground was well shaded (I went in the morning). There are nicely paved paths through the forest, lots of benches, and picnic tables. The playground isn't super huge, it is nicely suited for kids about 5yrs-10yrs. I spotted an exercise in the park class. There is also a place for horseshoes.

The park is nice and clean, didn't spot any homeless or sketchy people. I also didn't see...

Well maintained picnic friendly park! Your kids will enjoy the play area, equipped with swings, slides, teeter totter and rocking horses! We love the paved walking paths through the trees! Also, there is plenty of free parking! We bring our own water but there are drinking fountains available. Please note that there are porta potties here sometimes, but not always!

Make sure to not park in the new bike lanes, someone WILL take a picture your plate and report it. Be careful whose house you park in front of too. Rockwood Central Park is right down the way and has dedicated parking and better structures for the kids. Less chance of upsetting the locals.
