My experience at Sunbela was nothing short of incredible. From the moment I walked in, I felt a sense of warmth and nostalgia. The food was exceptional, starting with the two types of rice — white and red — each cooked to perfection. But the star of the show was the chicken tikka. The smoky flavor was simply out of this world — possibly the best chicken I’ve ever had. The beef kebab was equally outstanding, tender and bursting with flavor.

The traditional okra and white beans were made just like back home, every bite reminding me of cherished family meals. The chicken wings with their tangy, sour twist were another delightful surprise. And then, there was the bread — freshly made on-site, warm and comforting, tasting exactly like home.

But Sunbela isn’t just about savory dishes; it’s a sweet shop at heart. The Iwaki sweet was unbelievably good, even surpassing what I’ve tasted back in Baghdad. Every bite was a wave of nostalgia, filling me with memories.

To Sunbela, thank you. You didn’t just serve me food — you brought me home. For that, I am...

IF there less than one star rating I would give -10 stars. This establishment are the worst ever... don't bother to book an order, they never ever deliver throUgh on what orders they promised they would. This store opened several years ago under El Sheriff Bakery, closed because of poor customers' serviCes., then opened once again last year under new name, and under the management of "so called a new Owners", but they are the same Owners, they still have the worst customer services and attitude, Workers don't know how to retain customers disgusting food taste.. I would pay extra few bucks and receive...

Sun Bala always shares there sunshine! They have every kind of yummy middle eastern dessert you could try. They never fail to offer me a free sample. On one day it was three free samples! And even free coffee. ( I don't think free coffee would be the norm) I bought a box full of assorteds- you pick your own - all is sold by the pound. For 13.06 I got around ten or better of the selections. I brought them to my friends house. Lovely with tea! They were so delighted, so I thank you, Sun Bela👍 Please try this shop. They make wonderful desserts. Always clean,...

Try this place out right now! We went in for the first time after dinner to check it out just for some baklava... uh, holy moly there are so many incredibly beautiful handmade desserts spread out across the front counter so you can admire the craftsmanship. We couldn't make up our minds so we got one of each! And I'm glad we did because I'm writing this review with sticky-sweet fingers and a big smile on my face! The host was absolutely warm and welcoming, the food smells great and we will definitely be back. - honestly probably within the week for lunch or dinner!

Incredibly kind, hospitable people who are great cooks and bakers run this place. Me and my partner stopped in not knowing anything about Iraqi food. We asked for the woman working the counter to fill a box with whatever was best. She gave us many samples and was extremely patient despite a rush at the time. We also got tzaziki, hummus, bread, and a falafel sandwich. All of it was so tasty and fresh. The baklava was absolutely amazing as well as the Iraqi delicacies we tried. Such a warm and welcoming shop. Will definitely go back.
