🏙 It's a great place to see the scenery, and I have a lot of memories of the city of Portland. Whether sunny or cloudy, whether spring, summer, autumn and winter all have different feelings ~

First time seeing Portland properly in its full. Made me wanna walk around. Beautiful views, multiple angles of the city! Fun to drive on with curve, can’t cycle/walk tho.

Really neat bridge. The route going to Portland was beneath the route going away from Portland! Obviously there was traffic, but it’s fine. Cool views as well.

Best view of the city if you're northbound since there are zero obstructions from there. Horrible traffic and bottleneck, however, especially northbound, where there is exit 299B to I-405 just before that and almost everyone is staying on 5 but the way the lanes cut down does not reflect that traffic flow. I'm no advocate for "Just add another lane" but I do think we can design lanes more responsibly, and I think this bridge is a good example of that. Not to mention like half of all those drivers have to get over a lane or 2 into the speeding on ramp from I-405 south to get to I-84. The design needs to be massively revamped to reflect the real traffic flow this bridge gets, and it seems to do everything wrong on that. That being said, I haven't had a lot of problems with southbound. The main bottleneck on southbound 5 is through the central Eastside, and it moves again easily by the time you get to the bridge, so that is fine, but northbound needs some...

The Marquam Bridge is the transit route for I-5, taking you over the Willamette River connecting East and West Portland.

It’s no wonder that it’s Oregon’s busiest bridge it’s (being part of the I-5 Interstate Highway). You may need a heads up if you’re planning on connecting with I-84, I-405, or just remaining on I-5.

It is a massive concrete structure but sometimes you can sneak a glimpse you may catch moments of beauty to the left or...

It's pretty to look at and be a passenger through. As a Native Oregon, I always dread having to drive over it. It's tilted in places, windy, very high up, and has fast traffic. I think it would be much better to have a slower speed on the bridge. Unfortunately, to get to Moda, Omsi, or the airport I think you have...
