Every time I visit this location the security guard will leave their post at the front of the store and walk around til I'm at the register. I live in Beaverton but will shop here if I'm in the area. Never been to a grocery store that had a security guard walking around the store. One time I encountered the security guard at least three times. It makes a very uncomfortable shopping experience. I've shopped at many other NG locations around Oregon and Washington but only experience this sort of treatment at this location. Overall this has to be the worst grocery store chain in America. And I only shop at NG out of convince because NG stores always look empty, I can get what I need quicker and faster because they don't have that many products. But at the same time they are always out of something I'm looking for. At least I can get the healthier snacks I like here.
Also, they offer a wide selection of vitamins but the quality of most of they're vitamins is poor. The prices for produce is higher but the quality is rubbish. I prefer quality over quantity. I'll stick to New Seasons Market for most of my needs or purchase online.
Overall, I haven't had any issues with customer service at New Seasons, Market of choice, or whole foods.
Natural Grocers has a reputation of having terrible customer service at all they're stores. Its unbelievable. I will never be a member even if it saves me money. This store...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really wanted to like this place and appreciated the never Apeel sticker at the front door and unlike new seasons no harsh activism seen, the staff is generally nice and very accommodating unless 'one' with the shariah-bane-face-muzzle she has a horrible attitude and damages Natural Grocers reputation compared to what I am used to, I tell this from a business owners perspective. This would all be forgiven and seen as an incident because there is no light without dark but the lack of eggs and hiding behind birdhoax isn't fair (-one start). This is for a lot vegetarian folks the best and often only way to get their omega's. Another con is that NO raw milk is sold this is pure laziness and just the question of a licence (-one start) I never got sick from raw products some people have a extremely sensitive digestive system and or want a nice skin and can only do well with whole (raw) milk. Which can also be sold as bath-milk or pet-milk like in Australia. After I tried to 'reason' with we know who I mentioned earlier the guard was following me I didn't even notice it till my companion told that (-one start, it is not the American way), this makes this place just silly, I really want to continue shopping here though the empty eggs gig is really the straw that broke the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām surprised to see the comments about āgreat prices.ā This was definitely not my experience in looking for pretty much everything except eggs.
When I asked where the meat was, I got a long ideological answer about the meat industry and why they have very limited meat options. The tiny meat section they did have only offered items for 2X more than any other store.
When I needed a bag to check out, I was informed that it was a ābag-less storeā? They only offered to sell me reusable bags (since I didnāt know any better ha). Luckily, the clerk took pity on a brother and comp-ed me the bag since it was my first time in the store.
I went in wanting to like the store because of the good things Iāve heard about it in the news, but the experience was inhospitable and prescribed. I felt like I was not part of the club of āsaving the world by paying lots for groceriesā and knowing the rules of having to bring a bag and why we shouldnāt eat meat. They may be meeting the needs of a niche market, but it was too...
