1.0 star rating 6/15/2017 First to Review This art gallery needs to learn the "art" of customer service.
If I could give this place a NEGATIVE star rating on every social media platform, I definitely would. This store may sell some "fine" art- but their "art" in customer service is just absolutely repulsive. A friend and I visited this gallery yesterday; we're both locals but have never been in this store so we wanted to check it out. A man behind the front desk was on the phone when we walked in, so my friend and I perused and interacted between ourselves- that is, until a lady (I'm guessing she was the owner) made her presence known and abruptly asked what kind of art we were into. I told her "We aren't really that into art but"- AND this was a big -BUT- that got rudely interrupted when the lady condescendingly asked, "What are you doing in an art gallery if you're not into art?" If the lady had let me finished my sentence, I would have told her that we were actually interested in learning more and possibly buying gifts for our loved ones this coming father's day. So instead, I told her that we've never been there before so we just wanted to see what they had to offer- which became apparent immediately after the exchange.
What this art gallery has to offer in terms of customer service is a rude and stuck-up attitude that gives off a very unwelcoming and discouraging atmosphere for all art enthusiasts and neophytes alike. The lady reacted as if we had told her that we hated art and snorted at every artwork they had to showcase.
It doesn't matter how beautiful your paintings are if you treat your customers like garbage. Your art may very well be garbage in their eyes. Learn the art of customer service. This review will not only reach people who read your reviews and follow your pages, but also our friends who are huuuge art enthusiasts, and their friends, and their friends' friends and- well, you get the...
Read moreCarrie's private class was very informative and interesting! She is enuthastic to teach in-depth painting techniques; how to properly use materials; how to generate painting ideas and how to correctly hang and display your artwork.
Carrie is a warm and caring art instructor who truly cares about the success of her students. She really wants her students to excel by first giving a detailed lesson on how to create a master pieces from start to finish before painting. Also, she is willing to jump in and help with any challenges that arise during the painting process. She is very approachable if any questions come up during the lesson or painting portion. Lastly, she is able to help you properly hang your work.
I highly recommend Carrie's lessons! She is at the top of her craft; willing to meet anyone at their artistic ability level; and truly wants her students to walk out the door feeling proud...
Read moreWell I am shocked to see a negative review for this gallery! I've been in a number of times and have always been greeted with pleasant staff. They have always been friendly and knowledgeable. Never pushy, only helpful. I own a few of Carrie Goller's originals which I love. I have Pucci, the giant Tulip and the Encaustic Cuervo IX both of which I cherish. I also have some signed Max Hayslette posters. I highly recommend visiting this gallery. See for yourself what a lovely staff they have. Don't use someone's...
