I visited this shop while on vacation in WA and had seen these absolutely beautiful lazy-susans, they were pricey but beautiful and unique. Because I was on vacation, I'd have to have it shipped, it was pretty heavy and large. I looked through them all and picked the one I loved the most, there was only one. I asked if there was more and was told that what was there was. Because I had just arrived in town I didn't purchase it right away, I walked around town and came back to the shop and couldn't find it. According to the clerk, unfortunately, It was sold before I returned to purchase it, I was so bummed and inquired (again) if they had any more, they stated they didn't....everything was on the floor. We talked for a while about how beautiful the artistry was and how bummed I was there were no more. The clerk said, well let me just go make sure we don't have any in the back and when she returned low and behold there was just one more in back ! I was overjoyed but I never got a chance to look it over. We finished the transaction and I had it shipped home. When I returned home and saw the piece it had an area of discoloration, like sanding, and green paint smeared from the painted area into the plain wood area and then it had been sealed. Now, I believe they knew there was an issue with this and sold it to me anyway, that's why it was in the back. I contacted them and they offered me $20.00 off, but this was an item they could not in good consciousness resell. I chose to return it, they asked for pictures, I sent them and I requested the shipping charges also be refunded for the return. When she received it she stated the issues on mine were like that on all the others...LOL WHAT ?? Completely denies there is an issue with this piece. So be aware they will try to sell it once again. I have had to contact them numerous times just to see if they had received it and if I was refunded, including the shipping on the return. They have continually dropped the ball and not sent me the information of the return, stating they have been too busy. I finally get the receipt and the shipping had not been refunded, that means I have paid approx. $80.00 in shipping and $169.00 for the item, Since this was an item that was damaged I do not expect to pay for a return. I emailed them again days ago and as usual had no reply. I do not find them easy to work with and have doubts in their integrity. I will not do business with these people, they put artists and small business to shame. My experience has been horrible and this is still not resolved going on...
Read moreWould never recommend doing business with the owner/company. My husband and I were very serious about purchasing a piece of furniture from the store and waited weeks to get information back from the owner, and employee Cheryl. We originally saw the items we wanted to purchase while living in Washington and were trying to inquire about purchasing and shipping across the country because we have since moved.
They never answer the phone when I called the store and voicemail was always full. Several weeks after attempting to contact them, I finally got an answer that they would not send me any pictures of a table I wanted to purchase before buying (which- any reasonable person would want to see a picture before spending several thousand dollars on a piece of furniture). So, we ended up not purchasing the items.
How entitled the owner must be for not allowing this- must be thriving in business to turn down a several thousand dollar sale on a wine barrel table. I would NOT recommend anyone giving them...
Read moreGreat inventory - terrible customer service. Despite having some purchase-worthy art and furniture - it's almost as if they don't want to make a sale. The young sales lady seemed to take delight in telling senior customers "No photos allowed" - a ridiculous policy, some customers may want to see if the cool lamp they're looking at might work in their home. The price stickers are difficult, if not impossible, to find. The sales girl said they would not accept offers - even though the artwork or furniture has literally been sitting on the floor for 8 months. Sales people have very little knowledge about the products, artists, or craftsman. Not welcoming and a bit snobby, for no good reason....
