I went to a Naz Suns game last week and I have thoughts. Why are you rushing the game? It isnt televised and I'm paying 10 or 20 bucks to attend an event. It had a completely eventless vibe. We were in and out in 1:45. Why is that the goal? We like to drink beer, smoke a cig every now and then. The halftime was about 5 mins and they're back on the court. We uber to the game to be responsible so you pound your beers to fit enough in to have warranted the rideshare. I prefer baseball and hockey but if we are stuck with only basketball, at least try to make it fun. The concourse was about 45 degrees with most of the concessions closed. About 100 fans and 30 employees. It seems like no one wants a good time. The attendance stinks, maybe spend some money on the fun fan aspects but I understand if the fentanyl freaks that live here aren't willing to come out, no matter what, they gotta save money on things like vendors. It seems extremely Bush league. Far worse than the lowest levels of minor league baseball and the game I attended had 4 players from last years ncaa final 4. This team and event should be pushed to the fore but instead are being allowed to fall off hardcore. They're playing again tonite, and I'm a sports fan and the target audience, but the stadium experience stinks so badly we aren't going. Probably spending our money on bowling. The Naz Suns will probably fold up soon anyway. Way to go PV, support nothing, deserve nothing, be nothing. This is Theresa's...
Read moreAttended the Jeff Dunham show and while we enjoyed the entertainment, the venue itself needs some improvement. The building itself is okay, we were frustrated at the lack of parking near the venue. We were also frustrated at the lack of assistance from staff on what line we were supposed to be in. We did not know that there were 2 seperate lines; one for those with bags and one for those without. The "security" was a joke. If someone wanted to bring a weapon in the place, it wouldn't be difficult. I put my purse on the table and the staff slid it down to the next person and they just handed my bag to me without checking it. Once inside, the staff did a good job at directing us to our seats. We had floor tickets and I almost wish we didn't pay extra for those seats. They had the chairs way to close together. My poor husband sat next to a very large man (not over weight) and that forced my husband to sit kinda sideways in his seat. There was really no room to squeeze down the aisle to get to your seat without stepping on other peoples feet! The place was very packed so it got very hot in there. Beer prices were absolutely outrageous. I had to use the restroom during the show and when I came back, it was so dark and there was no floor lighting to show the row number. Thank goodness someone in my party was watching out for me otherwise I never would have found them! I think this could be a really good venue but they really need to...
Read moreSadly, the Prescott Event Center is incapable of giving credit when people get snowed in and are not able to get to the center. Prescott gets snow, and they should understand that areas around Prescott don't have snow plows and sometimes get snowed in. This happened for the Jeff Dunham show. A freak snow storm hit the friday before the show. The day of the show, major hwy I40 was closed due to ice. I live two hours north of Prescott off of the I40. So I called to see about getting a credit for this show, even for his show next year. I have had this issue once before for a show in Phoenix. Phoenix had no problem giving me credit for the same show the following year. If Phoenix, which nevers has snow, can understand problems with snowfall, I assumed that Prescott Event Center could also be understanding. But no. I didn't ask for money back. I asked for credit toward Jeff Dunham shows next year. The excuse was that Prescott is too small to give credits, unlike Phoenix. Basically, I think like other problems with Prescott, they just don't want to help out when issues are beyond your control. In order to try and make the show tonight, we have to drive in very dangerous conditions. We will leave four hours early to even see if we make it out. Hopefully in the future, Prescott will have something for adverse...
