The service was less than. Gentleman greeting us was quite nice and professional. We had to wait like 20 minutes but they were on the busier side so no biggie there.
Once we were seated it took quite some time for the waitress to come acknowledge us. When she did acknowledge us she brought some garlic knots that were burnt on the bottom. After placing our orders I asked if we could have some more bread, I was then informed that there would be more bread with the meal, in my opinion you just bring more bread.
Once our food was dropped off our waitress came back only once during the meal to check on us. At this point we asked for more sauce for the Chicken Formaggio at which point we were informed that she couldn't get us extra sauce and we had to pay for a whole cup of sauce which would be $3.50. We both thought this was a little ridiculous, especially when they brought out a big bowl of sauce (as in way too much). I then had to flag her down to get a refill on my water, which in my book is not a good thing.
Overall when it came to the food it was good, however, our waitress didn't seem to have a great attitude, and her service reflected that. The overall atmosphere was fast food and on the louder side.
Going forward, If I want Italian I'll stick to going to Papa's in...
Read moreThis venue has great food but unfortunately on this visit we had an unsatisfactory experience with the hostess and another waiter. The restaurant has a policy that if your dinner guests are not all there, they will not seat you until all your party has arrived. The employee (hostess) seating you will not give you a table/booth and make you stand off to the side like a imbecile. She will let all the other people that were waiting behind you to sit before you. I think this idea is a real turn off especially if you have been waiting in a line outside to get in for the restaurant to open. In addition by refusing a certain booth for your customer upon request is way to controlling. If a particular table or booth is empty and available you should let your guest pick when they want to sit. Understandably if a table sits six persons and only two show up that would be waisted space. But if a booth holds four people and two show up, and then two more in five minutes you let them sit there. What happened to the "the customer is always right"? I would suggest asking your guest if the party is not arrived how long do you think it would take for them to arrive. If it's within a reasonable time (15-20 minutes) let them sit. They can always order an appetizer and a drinks. It's not a big deal. That's what most restaurants do. But to punish them by not seating them when there is no place to sit or wait except standing off to the side is just not...
