The store is open until 9PM. Arrived before 8PM and they had very few items left and would not cook anymore. What was on display didn't look edible. This has happened several times at this location. You should be able to order any item on the menu up to 15 minutes before closing. That is why it's called fast food. Terrible to run a business that way. There were more customers behind us and everyone was offered what was left. With a HOUR left open and customers waiting and wanting to be served. Corporate should definitely check any operation that lets the employees clean so they can get off exactly at 9PM instead of serving customers for the last hour. Update: Ordered carry out on 03/07/23 at 7:45 pm and same issue but food was better. When we got there at 7:45 they had almost everything prepared we wanted except for the Walnut Shrimp. They didn't want to make that order and there were probably 15 people behind us left to eat what they had cooked. Luckily they made my order with a little insistence on my part. Terrible management. My order number was 258182 at the Prescott Valley Panda Express. Will definitely take the survey. Went from one star to two because the food was good. Not...
Read moreThis was the busiest Panda Express I have ever been to, anywhere in the USA. It has a lot of people working in it, to take care of customers.
I always order the same meal at all Panda Express I visit, since it helps me compare locations. I get a two item plate with Orange Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken and Chow Mein.
The employees I encountered were very friendly.
While the food was great, there were two differences at this location that I hadn't encountered anywhere else in the US.
They pre-cut the Chow Mein. All the other Panda Express I have been to create traditional uncut noodles for their Chow Mein, but this location had cut them into three inch lengths. It didn't change the taste of it, but I prefer uncut more spaghetti length noodles because they're traditional.
There was a packet of Teriyaki sauce in my bag to go on my teriyaki Chicken. It was a thick and tasty sauce and added greatly to the Teriyaki Chicken. I'd like to see all Panda Express locations do this.
I received my order pretty quick. Had to put a fork and napkins in the bag myself, which isn't so great if you don't know you have to do that, or you forget.
Overall, I can see why this location...
Read moreDoors locked at 10:24. Hours say 10:00 am and open. Even at 10:30 when the doors open had to wait another 5-7 minutes until they got things ready. The food had been there in the trays since 10:00 when I arrived at the doors locked.
Chincy amount of entrees and chow mein/rice. Come on people it's noodles and rice. The least you can do is fill up the Chow mein and rice if you are going to be chincy on the entrees.
I had maybe 4 pieces or orange chicken, 4 bites of Kung pao and maybe 4 or 5 pieces of chicken green bean. Chow mein didn't even fill the space for it.
This WAS the better Panda however the one downtown Prescott has stepped up and has improved to the better one.
With all the places to eat here in Prescott Valley this one won't be on my radar next time. They don't even have a drive-thru for us disabled.
ALSO- Tried to use a gift card that I knew had money on it. The girl told me it was a zero balance and would I like the card back? I of course said yes. When I got home there was still 47.40 in that gift card that she printed out a receipt saying it was zero. How many other people do they tell that it is a zero balance when there is in fact money...
