TAILGATERS PRESCOTT VALLEY-TERRIBLE SERVICE AND OVERCHARGED
I brought my family and parents in Saturday for a late lunch. We eat there frequently. We come in most Fridays for the fish fry and several times each month. We also purchase a substantial amount of Christmas gift cards each year. We came in right at 3pm at sat at the large round table in the bar as the restaurant side was full with a private party. Several waitresses passed our table several times over a 20 minute period. We observed other tables being served and cleared during this time without our table being acknowledged. I had to go and ask a waitress if she knew who our waitress was. Shortly after our waitress came and took our drink order as we have been sitting there for close to 30 minutes now. We received half of our drink orders as the Coke machine was out. After about another 15 minutes they received their drinks. We ordered cheese curds and fried pickles. When the cheese curds were delivered, we were notified that you were out of Fried pickles. We ordered the X large 1 item pizza and 30 wings for $41.99 but charged the full price which I did not notice until I got home. Also during our meal, I had to go get napkins and silverware that were never given to us. We came in to get a nice lunch before my adult son had to go to work at 5 and we had to rush out of there due to the delayed service. My family, extended family, friends and my company frequent your establishment quite a bit and will consider other restaurants after this experience. I do expect a refund on the difference of the full price I was charged for the pizza and wings after I clearly ordered the pizza and wing deal. Also, your wings description states "served with celery and carrots" and you only give 1 carrot and 1 celery. This is clearly false advertising. We ordered more carrots and celery and charged $2 which is unacceptable to me. I have my receipt and need to know how to go about getting my refund for being overcharged for a disappointing dining experience! Sincerely, dissatisfied loyal customer. Read moreUPDATE 2/14 Good pizza and awesome crispy wings. Had some problems with a recent delivery from them but they ended up making things right and I really appreciated that. I will continue bringing my family here.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ORDERING FROM THEM!!! I am so disappointed with the service I received from Tailgaters tonight. I put in an online order this evening (at 6:45) for 20 salt and pepper wings, a salad, and a personal cheese pizza. It took about 45 mins to get my food delivered, which I expected. To my surprise, when I opened my wings container, I had a full container of fried wings with absolutely NO seasoning on them. I order the salt and pepper wings frequently and understand that they are a dry rub but there wasn’t even a spec of salt or pepper. I promptly called the store to ask them to send me a new order, this was at 7:33pm (45 mins after my original order being placed). The girl on the phone told me it would be about 45 mins more to get them out to me. I begrudgingly accepted since the salad and wings were mine and my husbands dinner for the night and the pizza was for my kids. At 8:45 (an hour and 15 minutes later!) my husband called to see where our replacement food was?! The girl puts him on hold for a couple of minutes and then gets back on the phone and just says “Uh, we'll get those out to you right away”. They hadn’t even made our order yet! We waited ANOTHER 50 mins and still NO FOOD!! It is now 9:40pm (3 hours after our original order) and still nothing!! My husband called again and they still hadn’t sent our food out because all of a sudden, they didn’t have our delivery info anymore?! The manager claims he will refund us our money but we will have to wait and see. No one ever apologized the 3 different times we called. I will NEVER order from Tailgaters again and I WILL tell everyone I know about there “customer service” or lack there of. I wish I could...
Read moreI called to make a carry out order of their wings and pizza combo for a work lunch. I called at about 11AM. It was an extra large one topping pizza and 25 wings of various flavors. They told me it would be ready in 15-25 minutes. I showed up 25-30 minutes later at the restaurant. No one was at the front desk whatsoever for at least 2+ minutes. So I just waited. Finally a lady showed up, and I told her about my order. She goes back to check, and tells me it will be a few more minutes. No problem, so I sit down in the lobby to wait. I NEVER saw that lady again. In fact, the front desk was never attended to and multiple groups of people came in to be seated, and they all waited far too long to be attended to and seated for lunch. We're talking like almost 10 minutes each. After about an additional 20 minutes of me sitting and waiting, I went up to one of the workers I saw running around in the bar area. I told her I was still waiting for my pick up order. She goes to the take out station and there's my order, just sitting there! Turns out, my order came out only a couple minutes after I arrived, and the first lady that helped me disappeared and didn't tell anyone in the FOH that I was already there! I didn't make a big fuss, I just didn't give them a tip... (I tip based on service and I received none...) To make matters worse, of course, my food was cold when I brought it back to my work (my work is located only 3 minutes from the restaurant.) And on top of that, the food was incredibly BLAND and tasteless! The wings did not have any flavor at all, despite them all having different sauces. The pizza was OK but nothing to write home about.
