We came out for our sons wedding and stayed in a suite. After a very long 15 hour drive we arrived and just wanted a shower. Apparently the hot water was turned off and the very nice lady at the front desk said she would look into it. Once the water was fixed we stepped into the shower and there were bandaids on the walls and floor. Must not have great cleaning staff. After the shower I noticed my feet were black. I thought well maybe when I stepped outside really quick it was dirty so I went inside and washed the bottom of my feet. Getting into the bed I noticed my feet were black again. I then realized it was the floors. They were insanely disgusting. Not sure when the last time the floors were mopped. So I filled the sink with soap and water and took a hand towel and foot mopped the floors, it took 4 towels to finally get the floors cleaned. I wanted to take the towels to the front desk at check out but what good would it do for me, I would probably get the same story about oh I’m sorry we will discuss it with our maids but since I was checking out I wouldn’t see what really happened. I did however leave the towels in the room with a note stating how nasty it was and hopefully they cleaned the room better for the next guest. We stayed there 3 nights. It was peaceful, the breakfast was really good. The gentleman that cooks the food was very friendly. Pool was nice as well. We stayed here along time ago and had no complaints that’s why we stayed again. I would probably stay there again but would check the floors at check in to make sure things were cleaned better. 3 stars for service goes to the breakfast guy, and 3 stars for the room was because the suite was beautiful other than the cleaning. One last note, the shower curtain was not long enough so water flooded the bathroom floors after each shower so we had to use a lot of towels to keep next to it so there was no standing water when we stepped out. See photos. The photos...
Read moreReserved the Hotel Online, arrived at 5pm, got the room, walked in the room ( room 200's ) and soon as I walked in I was hit with a wall of Stench of Strong Mildew, Mixed Together with Old Smelling Wet Dog Carpet, and old towels left in a broken washing machine ( Zero Room Fresheners ) walked out went to the office asked for a refund to go to another Hotel - The Receptionist said I couldn't because I booked a room online - The Receptionist ended up giving us another room with 2 beds instead of a king bed in the 300's room walked ( beds are made for shorter people ) under 5'10" - the second room still stunk like old wet mildew but not as bad - Still No Air freshener, plugin's - went to the store bought air freshener - didn't last long the smell 🤢 was unpleasant after time especially walking in and out of the room - Breakfast, the coffee ☕ tasted like weak instant coffee, the white sausage gravy Looked and tasted like yesterday day white gravy and it was 100% cold ( in the container the gavy was brown on the sides and spoon scrape marks like it sat there over night right before you wash a pot out right before you clean it in the kitchen sink @ 6:30 am - the eggs are powdered eggs - - actually tossed the plate of food in the trash with the coffee 😞 - the biscuit was good and the waffles are decent - I will not go back to the hotel - I'll be down the road at other hotels.... - The Hotel does have a Coffee pot in the room with Decaf coffee and Tea Only - hand washing water or tub water only or bring your own water - Tv is small with the picture settings messed up.... Decent lighting, good mirrors, iron worked, fridge worked but the freezer was over frozen with frosted ice, beds are spring type beds - pillows were comfortable, covers and blankets were not soft on the cheaper side overall looks decent... - to make a long story short the experience was a decent look but with a crackhead smell & Vibe...
Read moreWe checked into the room & noticed a loud humming noise coming from the bathroom. It was continuous & loud, even with the door closed. Hoping it would stop, we tried to turn on the tv, but there was no remote. We went to the front desk to get one & reported the humming. The clerk called maintenance, who wasn't on the premises, He was told there were bubbles in the pipes & to run the hot water in the shower & sink for a minute. After that, the humming was still happening. We were told that due to a concert in town, the motel was booked, so we couldn't get another room. My husband & I decided to look for another motel in the morning. A little bit later, the clerk came to our room & said maintenance was going to have to open up the shower wall to see what the humming noise was (funny how he knew this sight unseen all of a sudden). Miraculously, a cancellation for the same type room had just occurred, so of course we said we'd move to a room with no vibrating walls. The new room was QUIET! Unfortunately, this tv didn't work properly, & there were no local channels. We were told that because we booked through a 3rd party, rather than directly through the motel, they couldn't give us a credit, & needed special permission to switch tv's, which never happened. Also, breakfast starts at 6:30, so at 6:33, the forks/knives, peanut butter, cream cheese, should already be out. We drove 700 miles for a celebration of life ceremony, & did not need all this added stress. We...
