Wish I could give zero stars. PLEASE READ BEFORE SCHEDULING ANYTHING! I took my daughter in Saturday for her first partial highlights ( on virgin hair) and trim of her existing butterfly hair cut (layers). We were there from 11:30-3:20pm and instead of partial highlights (half her hair) the hairstylist only did a quarter of her hair on top and heavily highlighted to where you can barely see her natural hair color in between the highlights. The girl called me over to let me know they came out orange and she didn't know what she had done wrong but that she would add a couple for highlights to lighten it and mix a different toner. Well that made it worse........ I asked the girl in the front what we could do to fix it and her response was we had 7 days to and it had to be done by the same stylist. when we got home after her hair dried I check it and it was way worse. She had two layers only cut and they are far apart as shown in the picture. I called the manager to ask for a full or half a refund to take her somewhere else to have it fixed and that is when all of a sudden I'm given the option to have the manager fix it or someone else at another location. So now I had options but when I was leaving i was told I had none! I told them my 14year old did not want to be seen by anyone there and I had lost all faith in the company itself and did not want to risk it getting worse or causing more damage. She only provided me with the number to there regional manager to call Monday morning to talk to her. Today is Monday and I called...... she refused to even refund half and would only give me store credit. I explained the whole situation and in the whole phone call she just sounded busy and not at all caring. My husband called as well and she had the nerve to say ' its the risk you take when you go to any hair salon' So them being trained and licensed means nothing! its a risk! I will be putting in an update later when she sees another hair stylist that isn't at AZ Hair Co. I am sure I will be told the hairstylist messed up and was way over her head. Once I prove this right I will let you all know....... A special thanks to the manager for setting there in between customers instead of getting up to look at my daughters hair and help the hairstylist that was asking for help and to the girl that royally botched a 14 year old's hair for her birthday, Kylee Toomoth.
Update: After 3 consultations with other hairstylists (not associated with AZ Hair Co.) They all had the same solution for my daughters hair and their solution was not at all the same as the 3 I was given by Kylee, the manager, and Amanda at AZ hair Co. I took my daughter to one of the 3 consults I had and she did a wonderful job. I am glad I didn't let AZ Hair Co touch her hair for a third time. They're solutions would have ruined her hair more. My daughter did say after her hair was fixed (NOT AT AZ HAIR CO) that the process didn't feel rushed and all the technics and length of treatment left in by the new hairstylist was completely different. 3.5 hours for a quarter of her hair highlights with a cut on virgin hair has made no sense to any of the hairstylists I had a consult with. As Amanda a higher up manager quoted " when a costumer comes to get their hair done it is a RISK they are taking." Never knew seeing a trained professional was a risk or that she thought of her staff as a risk to costumers when...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDefiantly not, for haircuts Mandie did amazing on my hair on a previous appt. When I went in for dye (ombre/balayage) my hair was fried and when I contacted them later that day, because I wet my hair a little too tame the frizz I quicky noticed it was gummy and very orangish! I notice the brassy orange there when I left but she assured me the toner would help!!!! Everyone at hoe commented on my hair being orange so I called them that evening. You apparently have 14 days to report any issues if you don't like the services rendered!!!! They told me a manager would call me back and they would let the hairdresser know as well about the situation to remedy it. I followed up with an email and the email came back undeliverable.
I had a very serious family emergency in Texas with my father related to his cancer coming back for the 3rd time and had to leave for a few weeks to be with him and attend his appts for options and prognosis. Upon my return, I contacted them because I had yet to hear from them. I was then told to come in so they can check my hair, I went in that same day. The manager saw it was burnt but said she needed to have the other manager "View the camera footage to make sure that's how I had left my appt". She also said it was over 30 days later and didn't know if they could do anything. I showed her the call log on my phone that showed my call to them the same day I went in. She said they had to look up the call records to verify!!!!!! Pretty extreme and ugly way to handle a complaint. Well guess what, they were able to find out in the video footage and their call logs I was in fact telling them the TRUTH!!!!!!
I was called days later and told they would die my hair dark for me but for me to pay for the product!!!! Seriously???!!!! They would not even offer any treatment to help repair my hair which is already short and can't even be cut to help this situation and expect me to pay for the product to fix my hair so it's not ORANGE!!!! I paid over 300$ NEVER AGAIN and you should really be cautious when choosing to go here...

I came in a week ago to get a quote for dyeing my kids hair. Below is the qoute and the change in price after the fact.
$140 tops for my son $242 tops for daughter
Total: $362 at the tops!
Now: $210 for my son $370 for daughter
Total: $580 at the minimum.
It started off with them calling me the day before to change my appointment time due to being scheduled at close. Which I agreed to. I come in and my kids get immediately I to the chair and the first nice stylist comes over to tell me her qoute. I explain I already got a qoute and the price she's giving is the price for both of my kids. She nicely explained usually people get quotes from the person who is going to do the work. Which I think is reasonable but if I was qouted this before I would have done it somewhere else when there was time. I couldn't now and was stuck. The first stylist was nice calling her manager trying to work something out and was able to bring it down to $280 which it ended up being $289. Trying to be understanding but still sucks. The second stylist comes over to tell me pretty much the same thing but is rude and direct about it. I explained. The qoute given and her response is I can just do less product to make that cost. Which if she is reading this it came out bad. We can barely tell you did anything to his hair. Her giving me way less than what was promised and she did it for $147.
Obviously left furious. I wish I could get a full refund my son's hair at the very least. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION UNLESS YOU SEE XARISSA.
After it was all said and done I spent $436 and I feel...
