Ruth Gordon Amphitheater — Attraction in Quincy

PLEASE HELP SAVE RUTH GORDONS amphitheater from destruction! Help restore this treasured Quincy gem to it's past glory. Once upon a time the stage graced actresses & actors performing plays & musicals. Mass has been held there as well as puppet shows & blues bands. There has been enough new sky scrapers built all over OUR city Save the arts & save Ruth Gordon's beautiful Greek style amphitheater. Local musicians, singers, acting groups, dance companies and Quincy’s Parks and Recreations Dept. have been using this amphitheater since it’s dedication back in 1984. It’s near the water...so it’s very pleasant on a nice Summer’s night. During a Summer show, there’s usually an ice cream truck present. Existing seating is cement.
