UPDATED DEC 2021: Sadly, I had to take away a star. Too many numerous issues with dim sum & dinner service. Servers rarely check on a table now. Flagging them numerous times just to get the bill doesn't help. Usually end up walking to the front to ask for the bill. Request for silverware are not usually met the first time. We always get a full order of the S & P calamari. They try to pass a snack size order as a full order. Informed the server & he saw the portion but just shrugged & walked away. During dinners, asked the server which veggies are freshest, she replied they are all good. So ordered Chinese broccoli, only for it to arrived yellow & past its prime. Informed the server who brought it out & she said there was nothing she could do about it. An order of clams had half the clams closed. They did switch the dish with something else after we didn't feel safe eating it. We haven't been back since
UPDATED 8/21: Definitely solid 4 stars. Went Friday & it was surprisingly busy with only 1 or 2 tables available.
This time we ordered: Shui Mai was good as always along with the Woo Har & Char Shiu baos. The Fung Jow was quite bland & overcooked today so was a bit disappointed.
We decided to change things up & ordered...Fried Calamari (full order) (there is a snack size on the dim sum menu) & it was freaking delicious. Crispy, just cooked right, not greasy & just enough spices. Couldn't stop eating it. As were the Salt & Pepper wings, it was well marinated & you could taste the wine in it. Soo freaking good that our mouths were burning from the heat & we didn't care. lol
Also tried the fried Buddha's delight roll. It was wrapped in soybean sheet then fried. It was a bit greasy but I love the assorted veggies in it. Was served with a side of Worcestershire sauce for dipping.
Washed it down with a Tsing Tao. Goes so great with the wings. Service was good also.
Aug 14, 2021 3.5 stars but gave 4 stars due to the fact the servers didn't change & the 2 female servers took great care of us as usual. They had just recently opened back up for dine in.
Service was good & it felt nice to be able to have dim sum hot & steaming/crispy fried. Was great to be welcomed back.
Dan Tat (Baked mini egg tarts) was still warm from the oven & the pastry Ooo so flaky.
Woo Har (Fried Taro & Shrimp patties) was decent size & fried crispy goodness
Siu Mai (Pork & Shrimp steamed dumplings) came out hot & portions were decent sized. Tip: ask for some rice roll sauce to dip it in if you don't like the chili paste oil on table
Fung Jow (Chicken Feet) was delicious tho portion was a bit on the smaller sized compared to other spots.
Salt & Pepper Chicken wings is so addicting good. Just sad that they changed the size of the chicken wings. They used to be a decent size wings but now it's at least 1/4-1/3 smaller than before.
Haum Sui Gok (Fried Sticky Rice Dumplings) Yumm, dough was light & not greasy. Only wish there was just a bit more filling & thinner dough.
Char Shiu Bao (Steamed BBQ Pork Buns) One of my all time faves & their filling here is the best. The bao dough isn't as light as before but the delicious filling makes up for it.
Chau Chow Fun Gor (Steamed minced Pork & Peanuts dumplings) was pretty good. Filling was great but dough was a bit on the thicker side on the top pleats.
Jahr Lerng (Rice Roll with Fried Dough) this was a disappointment. It's supposed to be a contrast of texture (soft silky rice roll wrapped around a crispy Chinese fried dough crueller). This must have been prepared ahead of time & resteamed to order. The fried dough was soggy so soft that you wouldn't know it was fried dough. Normally, you cook the rice roll then wrap it around a fresh fried crueller then served. Today was not the case.
Coconut Cake & the Coconut Cake w/Red Bean were dramatically different from before. Instead of 2" tall square cubes, it is now served in a togo cup making it more like a jello cup. Texture wasn't like before so will not get...
Read moreIf you are a fan of dim sum, this is a place. They have a Hong Kong authenticity in their cuisines, not like other traditional dimsum houses which carry their mainland tastes. The service is better than others but still has a little Chinese style that makes noises when cleaning up all dishes and utensils. Because of the limited space, sometimes you have to share the table with others which I prefer not to. If you can tolerate the sharing, this is the place where you will enjoy your dim sum or dinner.
7/16/25 - It's been a while since we last had Chinese food. We stopped by for lunch today. The place has changed quite a bit since we last visited. I will go to the bottom to explain why I lowered my rating.
Their practice is a bit shady: Cash only (tax invader) Tip is calculated based on the "Bill Total" which is "Subtotal + Tax". The principal tip is based on the total cost of the meal ONLY. I usually tip between 18% and 25% depending on the service. Therefore it does not matter to me how much I tip but I do NOT like being deceived in such a this. The way they rounded up the tips upward regardless of the outcome. To save you the time of calculating, I put them down so you can see: a. 15%: from 5.4420 to 5.45 b. 18%: from 6.5304 to 6.54 c. 20%: from 7.2560 to 7.26
From the accounting standpoint, these pennies add up quickly, substantially. To me, it is not only dishonest and deceiving but also stealing.
I have attached the photo of my receipt for your reference to justify my rating.
Make sure you tip accordingly depending on how you receive...

We stopped in for an early dinner on a Sunday. Note the place is cash only. They do have an ATM, and there is a BoA ATM and one in the nearby 7-Eleven.
There is a lot of pork on the menu, but despite not eating pork there were ample options available. We tried the following:
Scallion pancake (nice and crispy) Chicken and mushroom buns (delicious and we loved the bread) Beaf meatballs wrapped in bean curd (very plain, needed to top with chilli oil) Vegan BBQ pork buns (good, the bbq was very sweet) Red bean paste buns (very sweet, we wanted to try these and personally it wasn’t for us) Pan fried shrimp with taro (crispy and delicious)
Overall we enjoyed the meal and tea that came with it. It is very reasonably priced and we spend a total of $40 (not including tip).
Service is fine, the food comes out FAST but it’s made fresh. Although we didn’t love everything I would like to come back again and try some other dishes. They have a HUGE menu. One with pretty standard Chinese American dishes and one with a long list of various items. Some really different things you don’t typically see (chicken feet, frog, oxtail) and some expected (noodle soups, stir fried noodles/rice). The quality of the bun used is excellent and my only complaint is that i wish they had more meat options for the steamed buns that...
