Not as interesting as the Old House, but still a nice visit. The exterior of the Stone Library is gorgeous: luscious vines are found in the walls of the library (as seen in the image below) adding to the peaceful atmosphere of Peacefield. There is an abundance of wildlife outside of the library, attracting both tiny critters and intimidating wasps. The inside of the library is filled with the pleasant smell of books (for obvious reasons.) Tour guide was informative, and the location was pleasant.

This building was built by the Adams family in order to house all of their original books. It is a beautiful stone library made to ensure it would not burn like the precious. I believe it was made by John Quincy Adams.

Very interesting. Crazy you are standing in the very spot John Adams wrote, read and corresponded with other founding fathers and dignitaries.
