Star Roller Rink — Attraction in Racine

I had my daughters bday party there this Saturday. And I must say I'm not a person who takes the time to post a review but I'm very upset and disappointed with this place. First I walk into the place and there was no one to help me or to give me any kind of direction of where to put the cake or what the plan was for my 15 guests that were about to show up. I've never been there before and there were like 4 other parties going on at the same time no room for my guests to put there coats or shoes . There wasnt even room to put my cake on the table I had to put it on the floor until my guests were finished eating and made some room. I was told I was getting a host that was going to take care of everything when I booked my party which I didn't there wasnt one single person that came up to me or my party if we needed anything or if everything was fine. I had to clean the table because my guests were sitting in front of trash for 2 hrs. Never were attentive to my guests or myself if I needed anything .I had to track someone down to give me plates, forks and a knife for the cake because I wasn't allowed to bring anything of that myself. Finally after 20-30 min I got everything I needed to cut the cake. I needed extra plates for the cake they didnt give me enough I send my husband to ask for more because again there was no one around they told him that was the last plates they were going to give us!!! Im just livid with this place . After all the money the charge you I would expect alot more from them. They didnt do ONE Thing besides bringing out the pizza for me . That was is . I couldn't open preasants because they took so long giving me everything I needed for cutting the cake . By the time I was done passing out cake it was time for everyone to leave. It was a horrible experience worst...

Booked a birthday party for my 6 year old. I wasn’t explained over the phone what is included- price, time, decorations, set up, etc. I put a down payment down to reserve the day and time. They called me a few weeks later to ask if I could switch from 12-4 to 6-9pm. I told them no since it was a child’s birthday party. They confirmed 12-4 would still work.

We arrived the day of the party and they did not have our reservation. I had to find my receipt to prove my reservation. They ran my credit card for the remaining balance and THEN informed me that it would be an additional $7 for every adult that wanted to enter. This was never told to me until right then and there. Paying for every adult to enter would have cost another $100 or so. This wasn’t even for adults to skate- just to accompany their children into the party. Even if they didn’t want to skate, it was still $7.

We asked for a refund and it was refused. I had to put 1/2 down to reserve my party, but it was never reserved. So I’m not sure what that money was used for since it wasn’t to hold a spot.

Maybe with all the money they are making they should use some of it to out back into the business. Place looks and smells disgusting.

Buyer beware. Read the website. Don’t just go off the information you are told when booking a party...

Since it won't let me respond to you I'll do it through adding to the original comment: If you feel that way please call the police. Lol I have card statement/receipts to show that I paid for every child that skated. You can also pull up the video where we paid for the ticket and then handed the ticket to the rental guy. If you felt that way you should have approached me last night. You must be thinking of that group of six kids that you also let in that the DJ kept yelling at. Also your DJ had the same playlist and replayed the same songs that's not a dj lol. You forgot one of the teens food orders in my group. The hours are also not the same as online or on the sign. You did nothing to address that your price and hour signage and online website is not correct. That's what I posted and that is the truth. I wish you nothing but blessings as well but you can't diminish someone else's truth by making false accusations with no merit. I genuinely implore you to call the police if you feel like anything was taken from you and I am 100% positive that my name will be cleared. I hope you have a wonderful day and many blessings to...
