Horrible experience there yesterday! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.
I was “pre-approved” on December 13th AFTER submitting every application process (multiple steps) except the in store paper application which I was not made aware of until i arrived at the store.. I received a call from a man at the Mt. pleasant location claiming he was the manager and that I had been APPROVED not just pre-approved. He said all I needed to do was bring in a $50 down payment or I could pay more down if I chose to and proof of income and that I could take the merchandise home with me right then..
I went into the store yesterday with the down payment and proof of income.. the first red flag was he kept trying to talk to my husband instead of me even after I explained that I was the one with the approval, he had a nasty attitude from the time we approached the counter. His sarcasm and smirks were definitely unpleasant to say the least… he kept repeating himself about the application process and I’m trying to explain yet again I was aware that I needed to fill out the paper application.. he continued to get louder with me and then began saying stuff like “well I’m not just going to hand you thousands of dollars worth of stuff and you go pawn it” at this point I am livid by his accusations and his self righteous behavior.. he literally treated me like a damn criminal at this point.. knowing he already ran my credit and made sure I had never had an account with them before..I tried again explaining that I was told I was already approved and he tried to blame the gentleman there with him saying “well maybe my assistant manager told you that “ I said it absolutely was not him, as I know the man he claimed to be his assistant manager. So then of course I was a liar… I kept asking him was he the manager and he refused to answer the question!! The breaking point for my was at the end of our conversation he said “ well if everything you’re saying is true then why wouldn’t you want to fill out the application” BECAUSE I ALREADY HAVE!!
Needless to say, I told him to kiss my ass and I would give my money to someone else… btw it wasn’t thousands of dollars it was literally $750! And I won’t pay NOBODY to have that kind of attitude with me… I will be contacting...
Read moreThis place is terrible. I would never get anything from them again. Besides already paying a high markup plus the extras they put on top of that, their customer service is terrible. I've been paying on time for 2 years straight and go one day late they calling and showing up to my house leaving notes on the door, then have the nerves to call my people and tell them how much I owe! Wow!! And for a bill 99% payed off that's not even 30 days overdue?? You people need a lesson in appreciating customers who have excellent history with you and learn no one likes to be harrased especially someone who pays their bills! Definitely my last time buying from them and I would not recommend anyone else to buy from them either. It's the equivalent of a furniture...
