This review is for the management / owner on 4/6/2021 between 3pm - 3:30pm. We have been frequent customers at your Culver"s in Racine for years and have always had good, friendly customer service in the past with only one time since the pandemic getting home and finding a mistake in our order, which was no biggie, we got an order of fries when it should have been onion rings. Today was quite a different experience and we believe that the type of customer service today at the kiosk and pay / pick-up window needs to be addressed by the management. We had coupons for basket meals, the employee at the window was rude, disrespectful & got an attitude when my husband asked if she had deducted the coupons, which she did at That time But with a snotty attitude saying that he should have said he had coupons at the kiosk, Which He Did while ordering. When we got home there were two items in our order that were wrong, 1) ordered Buffalo Chicken tenders were given plain tenders, 2) triple Bacon burger deluxe was supposed to be No onions or tomatoes, which they put on the burger. May not be a big deal to some but what if that person is allergic?? The employee that entered the info into the kiosk entered the order wrong. Read moreSo I come here twice a week literally with no issues ever last week I came in asked for my family discount threw someone who works there, and I guess he wasn’t working and the manager that worked that night mr. Mitch with the colorful hair and he said if he’s not with you or working you can’t get the discount I said I have before and he said ascvers policies those are the rules ok cool,…. But I came in today and ask for it and as were trynna figure out if my family memeber works or not,….here enters mr. Mitch who comes raising his voice and becoming a bit belligerent saying that “didn’t I tell you you count do that!!” I was flabbergasted at the disrespect and how condescending he was towards me I come here twice a week to feed my family and I spend a minimum of 500$ a month we come here twice a week because I don’t like the service, attitude and the quality of other fast food restaurant so I choose Culver’s over anything and in my ten years of coming I have never felt like I never want to come back he didn’t even give me a chance to see if he was working he just came yelling I hope culver trains him better in the customer service department. Read moreI’m not usually one to leave negative reviews, but after this happened a second time, I felt it needed to be said.
The first incident happened about a year ago. I ordered a burger, and when I cut it in half to share with my son, I found a hair embedded in the beef patty. I called the location, and while the employee apologized and offered to remake it, I declined — my appetite was gone. I submitted a complaint through the Culver’s website with photos but never received any follow-up. I let it go, assuming accidents happen — we’re all human.
Fast forward to this year, my husband wanted to give this location another chance since it’s the closest one to us. He ordered chicken tenders — something simple — and while eating, we discovered yet another hair cooked into the breading of the chicken.
This time, I emailed corporate and received a response that, because each location is individually owned, they couldn’t offer a refund. They said they’d forward the issue to the owner, Tim Haman, at the 21st Street location in Racine. It’s now been over a week, and again, no response.
Safe to say we’ve learned our lesson and won’t be returning. Two separate incidents a year apart, no real accountability, and no follow-up from management. Very...
